  1. sounds good for msfs, but not as good for boeing.
  2. aligning the both sims tiles set is not a bad thing and people, along with the game developer itself, in particular the third party developers will benefit it more than anyone else, the thing here is more that the aligned tiles quality is mostly real bad and the sim no longer supports 512x512 high resolution tiles as of SU16.
  3. for starters, you will never achieve the real-world tone in msfs, after the huge SU16 downgrade. I’d, however, recommend you increase green slider a bit with trial and error. not sure, tho, if it’s reflected realtime in the sim or you ought to restart the sim each time you have the slightest change in the mod settings. furthermore, instead of bing, you’d better try google’s free-stream which has better looking tiles around the world overall.
  4. It’s related to the zoom level (ZL) factor of the sim, or better call it a game now. It was ZL20 before SU16, now it’s ZL19 or lower.
  5. Some nerdy flight simmers can easily notice it, and it’s something technically proven by a world-famous third party developer when he published a changelog that stated the sim no longer supports hi res aerials just a few days before the SU16 official release.
  6. This is what I want too. But it would be quite naive to expect it from the devs, who haven’t yet made a single statement over their last downgrade called SU16 in weeks. Once an amazing flight sim, it is now officially turned into a game to please Xbox gamers.
  7. there are zillions of issues awaiting ms/asobo’s care, especially after the latest half-baked downgrade. i’m not sure such secondary stuff will get their attention to get fixed any time soon or ever.
  8. My answer to the topic titile : most probably not
  9. Hi folks ! I have come across a great real time flight connections map at http://www.flightconnections.com/ And thought AI traffic flight plans might be well applicable in a similar map, too. Do you guyz think any simmer had already given such a project a try ? Thanks !
  10. Thanks for such a swift reply. I agree with you on such a bmp should exist in either the main texture or effects texture folders. I actually use ENB Series but it has not changed the way gound shadows look. Maybe I can give SweetFX a try to see if it can handle for a more realistic shadow tone.
  11. Hi avsimmers ! I'm wondering if it could be possible to change the grayish ground shadow colors ( especially, of the aircraft ) in FS9 to a relatively more black tone ! Any comments would be much appreciated !
  12. I wanted to hear the touchdown sound coming from the gears and the wind. A32xx, thanks a lot. work by Airport Chat Developer Team worked like magic. I have modified the given improvement wavs to my liking, and every single AI landing now sounds as real as it gets.
  13. Hey simmers ! Is touchdown sound for AI aircraft possible, if so can you suggest any related downloads ? Thanks for any ideas !
  14. I guess it's obvious that I've already answered your question as to what my aim is here in my post above : However, you are quite within your right to find it pointless, whereas it's still quite meaningful to me.
  15. ACA2005 is already what I use as my database, if you have ever happened to read my posts above. What I actually aim to do is convert this data into a booklet like timetable for any airport and/or airline in pdf format. I have managed to do so by transfering the html database into Access and output a report, and finally saved it as pdf, as shown in the screenshot I have shared above. However, this process is much of a strenuous work to do for each airport of interest. I kinda ought to accelerate the whole procedure by creating a routine, in my humble opinion.
