Thank you -- I will give it a go.. this constant struggle of updating config files/tweaking is what i hate about this sim.. i was able to get it to work by just disabling fsuipc and using the controls directly on p3d (which defeats the purpose of buying the registered version).. but for me it was an easy to fix the other day so i am not spending more time on the tweaking. i'd like to get a permanent fix though by reading the topics you have referred - will give it a go. thank you again.

Hello i am having an issue with moving the throttles on P3d v2.5 with the Airbus X extended. I am using a Thrustmaster Joystick with FSUIPC. Wondering if anyone can help me with this issue. i've set my Throttle Axis set on FSUIPC. But on the sim it looks like the throttle only goes to reverse but not forward. thanks

hello i was hoping to get some guidance here on how to set the pressurization for the turbine duke v2. i recently purchased this and have been enjoying a few flights. however, may be i am doing something wrong but i cant seem to set the cabin altitude past 10,500. from what i understand from reading the flying guide and also on other turbo props. you are supposed set your cruise altitude + 500... and i am just not able to set this past 10, 500. i am currently flying only at 10,500 because of this -- i do see a red Annunciation come up if i go past saying cabin altitude at 10,500.. i just dont know how to set it. if anyone who has this aircraft can comment, i would really appreciate it thank you i just found this link (not sure why i didnt see before).. by doing a better search http://www.avsim.com/topic/488532-setting-pressurization-how-to-avoiding-the-red-cabin-alt-hi-warning/?hl=%2Bturbine+%2Bduke+%2Bpressurization#entry3421500

I have the saitek yoke, rudder pedals and throttle quadrant etc.. but most of the time i end up using my Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas Joystick ($49) on amazon; mostly because i am too lazy to spend the time to set it up on my desk etc. For my needs i feel it works really well (the Thrustmaster). thx

I have the GTN750 from Flight 1, It works great. A2A supports it well - you dont have to edit any config file or anything. You can download the GTN 750 trainer (Free) from Garmin and try it out. thx

Apart from the Intro Youtube videos -- are there any additional documents for the 441? I just recently bought it and am looking for some references in terms of Checklists. In addition -- i also have an issue with (possibly a VC click spot issue) clicking the AP button.. I am able to press 'Z' and engage AP but otherwise i am not able to click on the VC. Anyone have this issue? Thank you in advance

I agree with specialist - I have a very good system and NY city x struggles on my machine - I have no issues with running other complex add-ons. They do provide low resolution version of the software and im not happy with it. I so looked forward to their release a while ago because I'm in the area but am very disappointed with it.

I had an issue with installing ezdok on to p3dnot long ago and have managed to resolve it. Do u have fsx installed? http://forum.avsim.net/topic/448780-ezdok-was-working-butaccess-violation-error/?fromsearch=1

Even without that - I just pointed the p3d folder and it installed fine. Please note there is a specific p3d version due out soon for a small fee

I have resolved this issue - atleast for me and i hope this works for everyone as this program when it works is really god sent. On my new PC i only had P3D installed initially and i saw some of the folks who had this issue also the same. I tried installing FSX and that resolved it. I didn't want fsx on this new pc but hey! a small price to pay to get ezdok working. So this is what i tried tonight and i have it working on P3D. 1) install FSX (Sp1 + Sp2) 2) Install EZDOK ( Update 1.17 but not the P3D beta) 3) Configure EZDOK and run fsx once to make sure everything is working. 4) Copy the 1.17 beta executable on to the installation folder 5) Run the Estonia Migration tool 6) Run EZCA config - Run Config 7) Launch P3D (For me EZCA Didnt start right away) so i just double clicked on the ezca.exe to open it as well 8) It worked ... I have been using my i5 27" iMac for 2+ years now and finally just a few days ago decided to build my own high end PC. I did run bootcamp - as the performance is much better than running it using parallels. I am GA flyer but i also have a couple of jets and aimlessly used it a few times - Yes the performance is very decent. you may be tempted to run at a very high resolution as your monitor supports -- id say there resist as you may see a drop in performance.. To answer your question - you can get decent performance and its definitely possible to run FSX on Mac (provided your expectation is not 40fps)..

Matthijs - Thank you. Just tried this but this is a no go. I dont have the sdk folder under p3d. I did have the simconnect installation under the redist\ subfolders. I ran the Estonia tool and ran the installer.. Disabled this and opened P3D - still have the same access violation. Thanks Sri

Thank you - I will take a look at the case. I have made some progress today.. I was able to get a combo deal on the CPU / Motherboard -- on i7 4790K + Asus G97x - Pro Wifi for $439 and Jumped on that - Also getting the seasonic 760W platinum full modulare for $79 on a newegg deal. I will have to make a decision on the case soon... Is it even worth the $50 to upgrade my GPU to 6gb?

Thank you for all the feedback. I am upgrading the RAM to Corsair Vengeance Pro - 2400Mhz 16gb. I am also reading elsewhere - that the H100i might be a bit tight for the Cooler master case and H80i might be a better fit.. Based on that moving to a H80i Liquid cooling instead of H100i..
