A nice series, and a true flashback of the time when Orbx opened up the world of good sceneries for me.

Great work - and for sure I will make some flights there in the next days. I can also visit some places that I was in RL, what a pleasure!

Magnificent work already, Vincent. May I add some real life pictures I took about a year ago..: The entry sign just right at the gate of the road past the hangars: A hangar (and the gate to the left): Some airport infrastructure, as shown in the Orbx version already: The main airport building at the northeastern end of the parking area, ... ... and the sign on it. The FedEx building. But now the big disappointment: Lana´s Cafe. Indeed you must manipulate reality and bring the cafe back, just as @sniper31 said...!

Hi Jack, after a series of CTDs I had to do what I did not have to do since my p3d was running stable: Google for the phenomenon. And so I heard about the "rolling cache", which could be emptied by deleting it in the MSFS.in-game-menu "General Options / Data". In addition, I increased its size to half of my RAM. This worked well on a single-digit number of flights today - even with FSLTL active. Let´s see if this keeps on being successful.

Hi Jack, now I can add to your report: All worked fine with FSLTL (newest version) flying in Australia, now I get instant CTD when trying to start a flight in Germany or New Zealand. With deactivating FSLTL it works.

That is why I still fly p3d when using airliners: I want to have proper advice, SIDs and STARs by ATC.

An outstanding flight and narration, @bernd1151. I like your adventures, but these locations are even more special. And I would not be too surprised if you had been there in RL before...

Great flight & descriptions, Bernd. I really like(d) Nelson airport, it has the perfect size and is no shopping mall. The personnel has a good sense of humour, too.

Interesting to see the south corner of the south island here. Can you see the steepness of some of the roads as well?

I see you are currently practising high-speed plane landings, quite different from the Fieseler Storch.

Surprising where you get around with this little STOL plane...

Cool post, Bernd. I love these trees at the end of a runway just as much as you do, but shall we really call this a "runway"? And thanks for showing me the inside of the hangar, I have not tried to drive into there yet!

Great shots of the scenery, Ik. Though I prefer a) to arrive there by a bigger plane and b) to stay in smaller houses, no skyscrapers. Enjoy your vacation!

Indeed Jack. We have come a long way!

I use MSFS vor its virtual excellence. And maintain p3dv4 for the excellent study-level airliners, means I do my IFR flights in that sim.
