  1. Thanks for your suggestions John Both generators seem to be on. Apu is off. It has only happened recently. Been flying NGX 18 months. Only experienced on NGX. Swapped mid flight to default 737 and then JS41 and both Ok. Reloaded flight from saved mid flight position and NAV1 still unchangeable (NAV 2 fine). THEN I tried mid air change from 700 NGX to 800 NGX and it sorted it!
  2. Hi Stephen Just downloaded the latest Beta. Love the idea of the new 'on screen' window to adjust eyepoint in Opus views - but I can't see how to save the changes. Are we just tinkering with current view then losing it when we swap to another view or are we permanently fine tuning the programmed Opus view? What steps after adjusting the selected view please? It's not clear. Keep up the great work. Kind regards. Dean
  3. Nav 1 frequency is changeable on the ground but several times when I try to set ILS frequency before arrival I have found the frequency locked. The click spots are there but they do not work. Nav 2 is fine. Any suggestions please? Dean Logan
  4. Can anyone report if these work ok in Windows 8? I've had to dump my Level D 767 because it just won't work and at these prices I might fancy a 757 and possibly a 707. Thanks
  5. And an excellent You Tube video (from Garmin themselves I think) - well worth watching.
  6. It's also available for download for a week for a much reduced price. I've watched it today. The video is stunningly sharp. Most in English with excellent subtitles where necessary. And... What an awesome introduction to the 777. Thoroughly recommend.
  7. Thanks for the prompt response and action - as usual. I tried the Beta and it did what I wanted. Makes it much less trial and error setting camera views now. I used split screens to set cameras rather than minimising though. As a further (optional) suggestion could you try an option to make the Camera Control screen say 50% smaller - this might be less mouse clicks. Thanks again. Dean
  8. I'm in windowed mode. Opus window is on top of FSX Camera Window on top of that. Adjusting a camera leaves me just looking at the outside edges of FSX screen. Can't minimise Opus screen. Camera control screen doesn't seem to be sizeable. Maybe I've got tile settings wrong? Windows 8 Dean
  9. Ok, I have those checked. But, is there a way to enable the DHM effect and still be able to fine tune the pilots view point within FSX instead of having the toggle between the two programs and trail and error it? Stephen Just to pick up on this point I think he is saying what I struggle with. When initially setting the various Camera views they have to be done with the Camera screen 'at front' so on my laptop it virtually covers the FSX cockpit - hence trial and error. I've tried running 2 screens alongside each other but this doesn't work. Are we missing some way to scale down the Opus Camera screen? Or could you add a preview function? Cheers Dean
  10. I had ECZA but then I upgraded to Windows 8 - which is not supported. Opus is great.
  11. Well done both of you. Great product. To think it was only last Sunday you emailed me back three times with a minor support issue! You surely deserve this award. Dean
  12. Does any one run this on a laptop around 2.13 g dual core? I bought Airbus Extended and it produced frame rate of under 5 fps due apparently to FBW. Aircraft bucked around and was unflyable for me. (737 ngx gets great FPS though). Just wondered if anyone has an idea if this might be the same - before I invest? Thanks
