  1. I did some more research into this, because last time I also had %localappdata%\Temp in my exclusions. Now I removed that and it jumped again to 12% on my CPU. Added it again and the CPU usage dissapeared. Now adding all theses exclusions can become a security threat pretty quickly. Especially when excluding some common folders with lots of traffic like Temp folder. I have also narrowed it down to Chaseplane because as soon as Chaseplane has possibility to control cameras in sim (plane loads in) the CPU increase happens). Hopefully this can be fixed quickly.
  2. Hello, Over the past few weeks while simming I have been having some performance issues ansd stuttering on my simulator. After some investigation I found out that while P3D was running my Windown Antimalware Service Executable (MsMpENG.exe process) was utilising high portion of my CPU (15-20%). Especially P3D being CPU haevy software it started to max out my CPU and bottleneck perfromance. Now after even further investigation I got it narrowed down to ChasePlane, because starting simulator without it doesn't cause this Windows Defender process to raise, but as soon as I start ChasePlane it goes to 15-20% again. I have now solved this issue by adding ChasePlane.exe and ChasePlane_Bridge.exe processes as exclusions on Windows defender. But would there be a way to solve this so that it doesn't happen at all in the first place without exclusions. I know Windows Defender can be a bit pain sometimes with overly strict scanning etc.. but still would be nice to see because not everyone is able to find out the issue that easily. Best regards, Nic
  3. Hello, I have been previously able to add new pages on the system panel. Has this changed that you can now only have maximum of 3 pages on the system panel. I tried to add a new page as a .pg file but it's not read by the system panel at all unless I disable one of the default system panel pages. So there is nothing wrong on my file as it works normally as soon as I disable one of the default pages. / Jouka
  4. Who is this mysterious moderator editing the posts of mr. Randazzo. I want names anyways, thanks for this update!
  5. Hello, I have very weird issue that has been bugging me for the last few weeks on every single NGX flight I have done in the dark. Especially this time of the year a lot of my flying happens in the dark so it's there for almost every flight. My main panel light (CAPT) side goes partly blank after around 45-50 minutes of flying even though I don't touch the switch or touch anything in the sim at all. Some parts of the light keeps illuminated while some parts doesn't. Very weird issue. Here is few pictures about it to give better explanation. All lights working as expected. This is on ground when I was preparing the aircraft for departure. Part of the lights gone dark. Note that my Main Panel Switch is set to full brightness. For example the flap extension schedule, standby heading gauge, autobrake, speed knobs, fuel flow, flaps indicator etc are dark and extremely hard to find in the dark cockpit. My sim information: Prepar3D v4.1 Academic License PMDG 737 NGX for P3D with no modifications whatsoever apart from the livery (happens on all liveries) Windows 10 Professional I tried reinstalling my 737 NGX addon with no help to the issue. Can someone please help me? Best regards, Jouka Ahponen
  6. Yeah, that I figured out it's not that strong door . Guess my around the world trip has to take a break as the maintenance takes a look on that door before the next flight
  7. dmiannay: Yes that must be it! Was a bit in hurry for my departure today, so could be I forgot that one. But then my ground crew also told the "aircraft was clear" . I blame ground crew Just a suggestion maybe: When you release the chocks I think it disconnects the ground equipment. When that is done maybe close that door as well automatically. Or make it impossible to remove chocks before all equipment is clear. If I remember correct I just released the chocks and assumed that would disconnect all the ground equipment like on B737 and B777. scandinavian13: It's the F22 fighter or whatever that is. haven't paid too much attention on it as I really just fly it to quickly test sceneries.
  8. Hello, I am struggling to identify this door and why it is open. Can anyone help me and is it possible to close such door. I have even no idea how could I have possibly opened it. I only know it's not one of the Main Landing gear doors because they are behind that door (inside the red square on my picture). Also I know that far that someone from maintenance has failed to do his work Currently on my EICAS GEAR page I see all landing gear doors closed and on my Doors page I see no doors open. Also checking my FMC FS ACTIONS no doors are open. So I guess it has nothing to with those doors. Any help is appreciated to make me understand what's happening there
  9. I found two more gaps myself in the window frame. As far as I'm aware I should still be withing the limits of the cockpit and outside looking inside the cockpit. http://i.imgur.com/nCwRD6n.png http://i.imgur.com/kDrI00M.png
  10. I will continue on this topic as well, that the EICAS text is hidden left to that switch. You can see it on the second gif. https://gyazo.com/2f...6283d4e9a207e89
  11. Thank you vscimone. Yeah, there is so many switches and animations that it's understandable. Have a good weekend.
  12. I know it requires a pull over a guard. I have actually operated such switch in real life so I know how it works. But looking at the animation of this switch there is no "pull" movement moving the switch out from the panel on x axis on xyz-coordination. It seems to only move on z axis with a jump first "out from the mount" and then moving the switch to correct position. It could be I am really just nitpicking here though but in my opinion the "wrong" movement is visible from longer distances as well.
  13. Hello, Is the animation of HDG TRUE/NORM button correct? For me it seems like the switch moves out from its mount while moving the switch. Could be that it's simulating the lifting of the switch or something but still think it's a bit lousy animation. And in the end it's not a major thing on such a complex aircraft but thought to ask about it anyways if you guys wanted to look into it Refrence: https://gyazo.com/99823ab6d0ae219ec208c6e83ee81ad5 https://gyazo.com/2f6669f86fee028086283d4e9a207e89 Otherwise I am loving every bit of this simulation and want to give huge thanks to PMDG team for bringing another great product for us hardcore simmers. Best regards, Jouka Ahponen
  14. Same here with the FUEL and ANTI-ICE warning lights. Nothing wrong on overhead. Confirmed also that a friend of mine is having this problem.
