Hey guys, After not flying for a bit due to real life, i find after the updates that my camera views are all messed up..even after setting them back to default... Ive re calibrated my Tobii and that works fine... but when i enter into VC mode, the camera pulls way back (to a wide view so im way behind the seat)and my head is through the roof of the planes.. no matter which one... as soon as i turn off tobii to 2D mode, the view returns to normal... Im wondering if i need to start tweaking the values as at this point i cant really see anything and it makes having the tobii moot... was working flawlessly before with eyepoints at correct height and distance... Any suggestions or advice? Thanks guys

Good question... ive just gotten into VR and have the G2...so far so good but agree, the sweet spot is small...not a killer but i wish it could be larger.... Not sure what the other headsets are like, but i do like the earphones on the G2... if others had that and a large sweetspot id be sold!

Hi there, I updated my rig from a 9700K to the 13900KF along with a 4090... as for VR, it is chalk and cheese... no more hunting or tweaking the system endlessly for better frames... VR is smooth without using OXRTK...my HP Reverb G2 is perfectly fine until i get more funds to get the aero etc... The upgrade is WELL worth it on all levels...

I have the same system and will fire through my settings after work... safe to say you will get good smooth performance...dont worry about the FPS counter...just look at the sim....

Ive just bought GSX and so far so good... have been fiddling with customizing gates etc, people walking around and lastly tried to get passengers boarding the EMB110 using the airplane stairs... cant quite get that happening as the default stairs keep getting 'driven' to the door... any ideas how to NOT use the GSX stairs but get passengers to use the inbuilt plane stairs?b

Hey guys, My question is - with the native resolutions in VR as in OXRT set at 100 and in game world scale set to 100.... is the actual depiction of the flight deck as it would be in real life by default? I haven't had the chance to sit in the pilots seat of an A320 so not really sure what the comparison should be... Ive set my world scale to 120 in game thinking that might be the go... Any ideas? Hi guys, a quick chime in here... for the most part happy with my setup, but i read its better to OC the CPU rather than let the Turbo thing do its work - which may cause fluctuating FPS - is this true? Should i just go into the bios and set the clock speeds to the best i can get? The reality is, i even in 2D mode i dont get the FPS i see on the youtube channels that rave about DLSS... even with the exact same settings they have.. most odd!

Ive been testing a few things out and whats really odd is while i fly in TAA mode for the clarity and get similar frames as above, when i change to DLSS 3 the frames stay the same! That cant be right! Not sure whats happening there but its not feasible at any rate due to the blurriness of the Fenix panels... i guess there is no way to fix that while still using DLSS? I'm thinking DX12 isn't the best for my rig...so will change back to DX11 - there didn't seem to be a noticeable smoothness others talk about...hmmmm

Are you finding DX 12 performs better or equal to DX 11?

Installed and tried it! Excellent program! Also discovered that when getting taxi routes i can use the marker on the EFB to write them down (Fenix) and delete them when used! Thanks folks!

Hey gents, Now that the sim is all up and running, im looking to start with Vatsim again in VR...had planty of time in flat-screen... Ive just got the Navigraph subscription and that's just great! Integration with Fenix is seamless... Any suggestions as to what i would need for online flying (Have VPilot installed already) .. Im thinking i may need to start up in 2D mode to get clearances etc and then when ready for takeoff going into VR..but would take away form the whole immersion... Hoe to write stuff down with goggles on! Cheers

Yeh agree! Its been great with settings way up and absolutely no need for the OXR Toolkit fiddling that i used to do... Im playing around with DLSS etc...decided DX12 was not the ants pants so sticking with DX11 - what do you use? I find it all very smooth and get 55+ FPS in super detailed airports, FSLTL, live weather, Fenix etc... smooth as silk... im still waiting for it to clap out sometime as so not used to this kind of performance! Great not having to scour the net for tweaks now... Any suggestion you have on your rig be interested to know...

Well guys, finally had a chance to set up the new rig...and after hours of reinstalling and installing, finally was able to go for a fly in VR.... Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!! Flying in the Fenix on high settings - DLSS Quality - real weather (overcast raining) FSLTL loaded - FSRealistic loaded - in 3rd party NZAA airport - was getting a steady 50-55FPS... Now that's just a first go and i haven't fiddled to much with anything...not using XRToolkit at at... all settings at native 100 except i upped the world scale to 112... At first i thought what?? Only 50FPS? Then i realized i was taxing everything and the experience was super smooth - no stutters at all while looking around the flight-deck... gauges easily readable..tried TAA mode and frames dropped to 45 ish... but still smooth... I am sure there are settings i should be tweaking but at this stage i am super stoked!
