  1. Is PMDG planning on making another aircraft? Austin Hohenshelt
  2. Alright, that's what I kind of thought. Thanks for the explanation.
  3. I don't know if anyone does this, but an improvement that I would like to see implemented would be to have a rain effect on the windows. I noticed that when it is raining, the windows are the same. It would be really cool to see the windows get wet, and I think the visibility through the windows when they are wet vs dry would add to the immersion and give a more realistic feel. Maybe that would have a huge impact on performance, but I don't know. What do you think? Austin Hohenshelt
  4. What does it mean if the check box to always run as administrator is grayed out? Austin Hohenshelt
  5. The reinstall worked for the NGX! But now... for some reason... after a little while in the sim, a pop-up says, "Thank you for trying Microsoft® Flight Simulator X. The demo time limit has expired and Flight Simulator will now shut down." How did that come up? I have owned FSX for about 7 years now! Austin Hohenshelt
  6. Thanks for your help. I will try that. Austin Hohenshelt
  7. Well, when I installed FlightBeam's KDEN, GSX didn't work. I then completely uninstalled GSX and reinstalled it, and both KDEN and GSX work now... it's just that somehow the nav data files got erased. I will try to uninstall and reinstall the NGX -- probably with the new service pack -- or maybe buy Aerosoft's NavDataPro. To reinstall the NGX, I know I need to go to PMDG's website, and view previous orders, but it shows that I have none. I have a disk copy, so does that mean that I perhaps bought it from somewhere else? How do I reinstall the NGX? I bought the CD version from Amazon, and I have my order number. Austin Hohenshelt
  8. The only thing that I see in my FSX/PMDG/Navdata folder is the airports.dat file. So I guess that really did delete all other files. The SIDS/STARS folder is completely empty. Since my Navdata folder only has that one file in it, I guess I can't just restore the navdata from the navdata-backup folder. Austin Hohenshelt The repair option in the NGX installation did not work.
  9. I purchased the 737NGX a while ago, and everything worked great. Just recently, I bought Flightbeam's KDEN hd, and when I went to go make my route, all of the sudden all of my nav data is gone. When I click on DEP/ARR, nothing shows up. Somehow, my database got erased completely! How do I get the Database back in the NGX? Any free options? -Austin Hohenshelt
  10. I have the file downloaded, and I ran the .exe file. I then proceeded by clicking the repair option, since the only other option was remove, then a "File Error" message popped up, saying that "The following error occured on the file... Access is denied. (0x5) Do I need to uninstall the previous version first or something? I don't want to uninstall the 737 NGX only to realize that I can't even install the new one, leaving me with no plane. Austin Hohenshelt Does the new weather radar only work with Active Sky Next? Or does it work with anything as long as there is precipitation in the clouds?
  11. Alright, I found the serial key and it's downloading, thank you so much!
  12. Okay thanks, now I just need to find the serial key...
  13. I clicked on "View Previous Orders," but it's empty. I purchased the NGX like a half a year back, so does that matter?
  14. When I go to download the latest service pack, it prompts me to log in. I do, and when I click continue to download the service pack, it just goes to the main account menu... so how do I download and install the new service pack?
  15. Where do I install the file to? Specifically, which folder?
  16. Where is FTX Central? How do you select the different settings in there?
  17. I recently installed an ORBX FTX Freeware pack for FSX, more specifically Neil's sixth freeware pack for Global containing 10 airports in Hawaii (North America Pack 6). I compared the pictures of the airports of what it is supposed to look, and what I had once installed, and they don't look anything alike. I followed the installation procedures and it showed all of the files in my FSX folder, but the airports don't seem to have changed. Please help!
  18. Alright thanks! I will take that into consideration.
  19. What graphic settings would you recommend for me with a GeForce GTX 650 with overdrive? I want to get the most out of the graphics card, but also don't want lag.
  20. So installing the Deluxe Version is first no matter what, and then you install your service packs, OR install the Deluxe version first, and then install Acceleration? Or maybe I might as well install everything, and just play on the Deluxe version? Sorry for the multitude of questions, but one more thing, when I install the 737NGX, does it go under a certain version, or can you run it on any version?
  21. Yes I know that you need either Flight Simulator X with SP2 or Acceleration installed, but can you play on the deluxe edition if you go with the Acceleration idea or do you have to play on acceleration? What I am saying is, can you just simply have Acceleration installed on your computer or do you have to actually play Acceleration?
  22. Because I have to have either Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2, or Acceleration installed, do I need to play the PMDG 737 NGX on the Acceleration Pack, or can I just run it on regular FSX, or deluxe edition?
  23. I know this is totally off topic, but to get PMDG 737 NGX for FSX, does it need the first service pack?
