I dont know about now because I havent watched planes take off from san diego since I was a kid, but when I use to live there, the red line would have been correct. We use to go watch aircraft take off all the time. Actually if you look close, you can see pavement along the fence line just under the red line. this is where we use to park. We actually had a Boeing 727 run up engines in front of us right in that spot.. Thought we were a gonner..lol Brings back some nice memories .. and Yes, that garage was there and has been there ever since I can remember Larry

Not only is Windows 10 working great for FSX and P3D. I no longer have issues with joystick dropping off line.. Everything is working great Larry

Thanks Clive. I finally got the voice to recognize most of my speaking but now it is crashing as soon as it tries to respond.. I'll be out of town today but I'll delete and reload the program and see if that fixes it.. Funny, it wasnt doing that when it didnt recognize what I was saying.. Maybe it's my voice it doesnt like...lol

Ok, so here is what I have found so far..I went to Microsoft voice recognition program and it was having problems too. Well, I have heard someplace that a USB headset is better suited for voice recognition then the regular setup. Luckily had an adapter to plug mine into and ran the voice recognition software again. This time it worked much better. After that I started P2ATC and tried that and I am now having much more success. Also what I figured out was that when you read the example in the practice session you have to put in your call sign that you saved and not the beach one victor bravo..:-) Hope this helps anyone else that is having problems.. Well, so far the speech recognition for me is a lot more miss then hit. I have tried to change the values for silence and have tried the practice and most of the time it will read back something totally different then what i say.. example I said to descend and maintain 4000 feet and it came back with descend to 8000 and 4 feet. Other times it will just tell me that speech isn't recognized. I would say that I am getting about 10 percent hit rate. It's a shame, I really like the interface and what this program can do, but at the same time, it's unusable for me. It would be great to have the option to make it push button.

I too am getting really low volume. I see the older version has a volume setting but I can't find it in this 6.34 version.

Almost All negative threads are being deleted. Its a good way to keep selling a product that still needs alot of work. Keep forum open, delete negative comments and you as the developer dont even have to answer any questions.. Great business tactics.. :-)

I am also a very unhappy Pro Atc customer. It isnt just that the program crashes half the time while on approach, which is really baffling since I do the same thing for each flight and it crashes only when contacting approach. This has been a known issue for a very long time. But what I am most tired of is being told that questions will be answered and people disappearing for months on end. When this was brought up in the forum my post was deleted.. I didn't name names I was just stating the facts, which can definitely prove. I use to help Shells back in the day by just firing up the program and loading flight after flight just to duplicate problems but since he is gone, I no longer have interest in helping out, especially since Rjord took over and deletes posts or locks them if there is any negativity in it at all. I dont want to be a part of someone or something that continues to sell a product with false information, or should I say one sided information. Truth is alot of people paid and are still paying alot of money for a program that the developer has pretty much disappeard on. All we hear is it will be out when its ready, and nothing on what will be out and what will be fixed.. Hey Roy, you said a couple of months ago that you would answer the questions that were posted to a previous moderator (not Shells) by another member over six months ago and he said he would get to it ASAP. Then he disappeared and started helping out with another program. maybe you can start with that and not say, wait for the update.. Oh yea, the forum is down half the time and has been like this for months, but the developer is so busy that he doesnt have time to fix that issue either, but I am sure he has time to keep selling his high dollar program that has well known issues also Yes I do apologize to AVSIM for being negative but we don't have a voice that will be heard in our own forum (when its up) LKJ

Latin VFR San Diego Beautiful airport and very well done.. It is one of the most challenging airports to land in.. RWY 27 has a parking garage that you have to fly over and basically drop out of the sky to land.. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed..
