Took a break and went to the NGX again and I think I never had this before, OPT FL396 MAX FL391. I'm not 100% sure now but I think I saw the MAX at FL402, so I came back after some minutes, changed the MCP to 40,000 then popped up the FMC to confirm the climb and then surprise, it showed MAX 390, what happened? Kept her at FL380@M0.795 Thanks

What fps do I get? Let me amuse you, I installed taxi2gate Mexico City Intl. and 777 took off with 3.5 to 5 fps. I have no idea what kind of catastrophic thing has just happened over here on that but the NGX takeoff was just fine. I don't know whether to cry or laugh.

Hey guys, while I expect PMDG to come soon with a BBJ NGX Expansion I have a question regarding VIP weights on the 777 maybe someone could answer. I you want to simulate a full BBJ-VIP interior on both the NGX or the 777 you'd need to what, set payload to max then add 10-15 passengers? Isn't it "Full" CDU payload + passengers for the 777 too much for an hypothetical BBJ-VIP interior? What do you think?

I just tried it and it's pretty much unstable. Makes some textures and surfaces blurry. Maybe some specific settings or configurations on filtering or something are needed in order to get decent results.

I took the plane and made SIA22 (SIN-EWR), full fuel, no AUX Tanks and payload to MTOW with "Clear skies" to be wind-free. It didn't make it. I had to cheat use more fuel from a suddenly spawned AUX Fuel Tank :rolleyes: The B77L's range is supposedly greater than the A345's right? I think my mistake was to set the CI to 999 for 2/4s of the flight before reducing it. I ended up landing with a CI of 5 I'll set the CI to 80 and lower the total payload to 65-70% with full fuel and no AUX tanks for the return and see what's up. If I don't make it back I must be missing something :ph34r:

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah, I wouldn't mess with disabling airports, at least not now. I don't fly online much so I like to have nice WoAI traffic around, maybe I should lower the traffic settings a bit, I just landed at EWR and there was so much traffic and lag I had nothing to do but to burst in laugh as it looked like a freaking joke :lol: :huh: As much as I don't like to fly with low AI traffic, let alone be the only aircraft in the world, I shall put down those sliders even more to see if it gets better in high density airports. Mmmm Gerald, I guess you have this settings yourself, is this really worth doing? I use the freeware FSrealWXlite for weather (I need to get Opus) and that TextureMaxLoad Editor only.

Hey guys, maybe someone knows if uninstalling all aircraft add-ons from FSX will improve performance? I'll certainly be flying the new 777 only and probably for quite some time so if I uninstall a bunch of Captain Sim add-ons for example, and even the MJC8-Q400 or the MD-11 if this works, will I get better performance on the PMDG 777? I already have in the must-have tweaks and NVIDIA Insp. configs and I'm not even getting CTDs or OOMs just yet, I just wanna improve as my settings are now in my minimum standards. Thought I better ask before uninstalling stuff. I "fly" in a Macbook Pro with Bootcamp W7 x64 and the NGX performance was acceptable in most parts of the world with no add-on sceneries and balanced settings all around. The new 777 is one tad better on fps indeed. Thank you, R.
