So you come in all high and mighty, post the above and then wonder why a post like this one comes back at you and of course it will be my fault? It's a legitimate question I asked that you can have fun with or treat like you have. I asked because I wanted to know if people would want to persist, be patient waiting on fixes or will prefer to immediately return to what they have used for years. Maybe many will just wait it out for lots of user feedback before even buying it. Some people have posted reasonable responses. Then there's yours. Secondly, what other people are doing or intend to do with their sims is why we have forums. Can't believe I have to explain this.

How about before someone closes a completely legitimate question, would you like me to demonstrate some of the things I keep telling you about in my posts visually? Appears words don't get through so I can show pictures to simplify it. Maybe you will see things you haven't so far.

I'm dedicated to everything I do and that's why I'm critical and not accepting of everything thrown at me without having any experience of it myself. How anyone can uninstall their old game because they have already decided to go to the new without ever having actually tried it I do not know.

On the topic, I'm planning on staying with FS9! A computer game will never replicate a flight simulator realistically. If this was the case, as those who claim FS is not a game, the airlines would be training their pilots using FSX or P3D. Why are they wasting all that extra money? Silly airlines! We can push buttons and perform sequences as they are closely enough in FS but most things in the game have limitations to representing the real world. FS9 allows me to push buttons and follow sequences and do all the things well enough for fun. To spend thousands of dollars to still play nothing more than a game that will without doubt come with masses of restrictions to the real world, no thanks. I don't even like photo anything in games and that is all the new game is. It is always dead obvious you are looking at a photo. And no, I'm not basing this comment on old and past FS photo scenery, I'm basing it on modern game attempts using these techniques.

What if you don't like FS2020? Then what? Some of you have already wiped all your other sims.

FS9 doesn't contain an individual stratus texture layer as far as I know. The cumulus and cirrus textures are all you can download.

It's a game, we are all gamers, that's it. MSFS is a plane simulation game, a first person shooter is a combat simulation game etc etc. If you want a flight simulator, they are a few thousand dollars for a decent length flight for non pilots. They are run by the airlines.

Can sure see who the panic buyers are with no sense and no regard for anyone but themselves. Stats are useless, ship arguments are useless, media is useless, praying won't do anything. World has gone mad.

I think there are two groups. 1. Those who are happy with their current sims and need MSFS to prove itself. 2. Those who are desperate for a new sim and look at MSFS as being something incredible. All there is to it.

Forget it, you can't say anything here. I agree with you, more pretty pictures on show, no substance. The most important thing to know is the depth of the system simulation and this was completely left out. Surprise, surprise. The checklist system, yes, great, be just like the Super 80 I've had in FS9 for a decade and a half. It appears the default aircraft will be same as past FS versions. For the good stuff you will be buying payware. 2D panels appear to be completely gone. I'll take the heat off you, they'll all be quoting me now.

I only do things that are simulation. Flight simulation Golf simulation Combat simulation Prison simulation Enjoy them all, they are fun games.

This is totally correct. There is selective vision and memory here. Anything bad they don't see it or know anything about it. It doesn't exist!

I don't make this stuff up. It's been said by official sources. If it's not, I take no notice. Historic weather was not planned, AI was to be live with a secondary method of AI for offline use.

An option for random failures and I mean random! I want MSFS to log my hours each time I fly and at some point like real life introduce a failure. May be after 1,000, 2,000 hours of sim use or whatever, a realstic period. Would give a reason to always interact with the sim and watch instruments. Getting to cruise and then going to watch TV till it's time to descend as in current sims is boring.

And, mentioned on another site by another poster, I also can't believe it appears the most dramatic visuals of flying a jet is seeing a solid blanket of white clouds below. We STILL won't have this it appears! Nothing but the same old patchy clouds everywhere. Totally excited!

Not interested in endless argument. Pointless posting here if your post isn't filled with praise so I'll limit my posting to no doubt your satisfaction. Look at the pretty pictures. The clouds are blurry and as described by someone else, look like doomsday clouds. Historic weather doesn't look like it will be there. In FS9 my clouds look like clouds, I can go back 7 years I think and the clouds look sharp. Sorry about the last part, horse and carriage days are horse and carriage days.
