  1. To me the new UI in FStarter 2.7 looks fine and it is very easy to use.
  2. https://msfsaddons.com/2023/03/24/quickly-start-a-flight-from-anywhere-in-msfs-with-fstarter/ I have it and it is a very useful MSFS tool.
  3. MSFS loads in 3,5 minutes from my nvme drive.
  4. Now with these functions - Add your own POIs when you are in a flight, from a Map location or from an airport location( approach, traffic pattern, gate etc.) - Move you flight to any user created POIs, default MSFS POIs, photogrammetry city, non-photogrammetry city, or Airport location(approach, traffic pattern, gate etx) -Create your own Map showing all user POIs, MSFS POIs - Move your flight by selecting POI marker in Map
  5. Fly over any MSFS Point of interest with FStarter https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... sp=sharing

    The Last B747

What an airplane. I have had many flights in this super airplane all around the world. I guess I am not the only one.
  7. Yeah it is good, but it can be much better if they got rid of the big trees and greenish roads and memorize the pop out screen positions.
  8. An easy tool to practise your approaches to any airport.
  9. I just wonder. Time will show. Microsoft announces big layoffs that will affect 10,000 employees
  10. After 2,5 years MS/ASOBO has still not any soultions for the following 4 issues: 1)The trees are still too green, too large and too many all aorund the world. 2) AI traffic is still almost as bad as in FSX 3) ATC is stll almost as bad as in FSX 4) Location settings of cockpit screens(PFD, MDF,CDU etc.) pop outs can't be saved and resused. Will these issues ever be fixed during the next 7,5 years of MSFS' lifespan?.
  11. After some testing, I will stay with TAA. Not any big improvements with DLSS, so having both the GTX and RTX card enabled and using TAA is better and let me use all 6 monitors.
  12. I finally got the DLSS option back. What did I do: 1) Disabled and uninstalled the Nvidia GTX card. 2) Reinstalled the Nvidia driver 3) Deleted the Usercfg.opt file 4) Started MSFS Then the DLSS came back.
  13. I have taken a backup and deleted it, and made MSFS create a new one. Both with the GTX disabled and enabled, but the issue is still there.
  14. I looked in C:\Users\roa-k\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe and its subfolder but couldn't find any of these files. I wonder if he DLSS option only shows up if the PC has a RTX card? As I also have a non-RTX Nvidia card (GTX 1030) together with a RTX 3080Ti in my PC. Maybe MSFS checks and find the 1030 and belive I do not have a RTX 3080Ti
  15. Yes, I have all other options, but the AMD instead of the DLSS.
  16. The problem is that there in NO DLSS option to choose, only an AMD option and I do not have an AND card. I have a Nvidia 3080Ti. I also have the very latest Nvidia driver dated 2022.12.12
  17. I have Nvidia RTX 3080Ti, but DLSS is not available. I get the AMD options and that is weird. I have tried in both DX11 and DX12, but it is not showing up. Any ideas how to fix this?
  18. Opencockpits MCP is very good choice Use with Oi4FS it will let you control both the CRJ and the PMDG 737 airplanes plus most other airplanes in.MSFS.
  19. Another app for approaches and so much more is FStarter. Works fine with all airplanes.
  20. Get a 4K TV, a 43 inch or a 55 inch.
  21. AS of today there is no solution to send PFD etc. to a networked PC. Why bother with 2 PC. Get a RTX 3080Ti and A RTX 1030 with no fans at minimum and use Pop Out Panel Manager to set up all screens. Then add Oi4FS with its add-on PMDG 737 driver and build a complete home cockpit with Opencockpits hardware modules(MCP,EFIS etc. or IOCARDS)
  22. Check Oi4FS at www.flightsim4fun.com A complete Home cockpit for PMDG 737 can be built with it.
