  1. Hello folks, Thanks for the support. Regarding performance, despite we adding more new features, we have optimized the scenery a lot. So no performance issues for anyone. When we did v1 we had a lot of FS8, FS9 code in there. We have made most of the things from scratch, and re-compiled the scenery so that it can work great on P3dv2.2. So no issues there. hopoe you enjoy the sun at the conch Republic!
  2. We just released v1.1 Some customers were having issues with default objects from other scenery and now we made a more robust exclude. Also fixed some gate number mismach that was happening. thanks gents!
  3. yes, its compatible with P3Dv2.2 we are to get KSAN and KMIA on the same compatible for P3dV2 Thanks guys for the support!
  4. you can remove them yes and no autogen will appear.
  5. Hi Curt, By going back and re-installing it is not going to be possible to remove autogen. You will need to remove the photo scenery altogether, and you will have to do it manually, remove all files that start with photo and you are set.
  6. Hi, When you load KSAN and places you on runway 27 you are near a tower viewpoint called "San Garage" in the version 1.1, we later changed it so that people can identify it as "San Diego parking garage viewpoint" The reason is that you are closer to that parking garage than to the KSAN arp or center of the airport, but it doesn't affect whatsoever anything in the sim. The only balboa park buildings are the aerospace museum and the Navy hospital. Hi Curt, Email me to ricardo@latinvfr.com and see how we can help you with your performance.
  7. Hi, you can download the update, which is less than 1 mb, also from our servers: http://www.flycay.com/forums/showthread.php?5029-LatinVFR-San-Diego-KSAN-update-1-for-FSX-P3D-FS9&p=26944#post26944 You need not download the full installer. Hi, we are in the process of adding it, should be in a couple of days.
  8. Hi, I think there are certain developers who prefer to remain the only ones with certain technological advantage, and that's understandable. I believe the developer you mention has some sort of software that helps him have that tweak in the FSX engine, it is something that he does not I believe license it, so we can't do that unless someone in the development community shares it among us or I stop production for a few months and try to see (without guarantee) that I can get something to work. The FSX SDK does not allow for the creation of ground polys like they have and it is for us to find some sort of solution to it. I have recently experimented and with large airports is very difficult, with smaller ones is somewhat possible because of the flickering. I might as well just give the options of either having a DX9 scenery or a DX10 scenery with certain limitations or features that will not be present in the scenery. Not that I will have two seperate sceneries but something the users can prefer during installation. Thanks
  9. Hi, Its only DX10 compatible during the day. During the night it is not. I tried for weeks to find a way around it for it to work at night to no avail. Will keep this as an objective in the coming weeks. Thanks!
  10. Hi, here is a quick fix: http://www.flycay.co...26906#post26906 in the following days we should publish update 1 which we hope to include a bit more things based on feedback. Hi Altstiff, If the fix I published doesn't help, send me screenshots of the issues please to support@latinvfr.com
  11. Thank you all for the support and for the strong positive response from the community. I understand the initial reaction to the concerns regarding performance because of KMIA. This airport (KSAN) was tested significantly by many people before release and we made sure no performance issues came up. And so its proven by the feedback by the customers after release. And with hundreds of custumers already and none relaying problems with performance (just one with FS2004) we can assure anyone that no performance problems are present in this scenery, despite its detail. We are working on an significant free update to KMIA to improve most importantly performance and other things which we think that for a pawyare scenery shouldn't have and adding some new things that we did for KSAN on texturing and modelling. So by next month we should have it out and hopefully everyones concern regarding KMIA should be resolved. As for KSAN, not much to fix as of yet just the ILS frequency for runway 09 which was wrong, so in a few days we should have that out with the update along with some small terrain issues and we wish to first get more feedback on that note. thanks!
  12. Hi Email us with screenshots of your issues to support@latinvfr.com As other users have mentioned, there shouldn't be issues. Thanks!
  13. Hi, as Rafal said, we have done everything costalines etc of the entire islands. So free-flow is not longer needed, and ought to be removed for the scenery to work correctly. Nonetheless you can still manage to keep the AI ships that go around the island as they are somewhat compatible with our real world islands.
  14. Hi, The simshopt link is: http://secure.simmarket.com/latinvfr-bermuda-txkf.phtml and for those that want to see FS2004 shots they are here http://www.flycay.com/forums/showthread.php?4705-TXKF-Bermuda-Airport-HD-Island-Project-FS2004-final-shots Thank you all for your comments!
  15. Hi, Actually if you check this thread: http://forum.avsim.n...one-try-it-yet/ there is diverse feedback on performance. Generally speaking from feedback I have got is that is at par with other Mega airports. KMIA is a mega airport and there isn't any other in the area (Florida) as big as KMIA, and the others made by other developers are not even half in size. So it takes a toll on certain systems. Though it wouldn't be fair to compare with other developers KFLL or KTPA (though some people say its on the same league of FPS) since they are much smaller.
  16. Hi,those two gates D46 and D44 are supposed to be designated for SMALL aircraft. The B777, would not go into that category, and that's why the issue. You should revise in your aircraft CFG that those planes park in HEAVY.thanks,Ricardo
  17. Thank you folks for commenting on our work.We are currently working on some fixes, among them the photo scenery, making it more HD, and also allowing it to blend better to the surrounding photo scenery. We take feedback very seriously and we will do our best to satisfy our customers.
  18. We have initiated contacts with him, and we should have our future sceneries (and past) made compatible. All depends in his availability. The scenery is not close to release, a lot of work still to be done. I would agree if we release it today as it is, but as I said above, it is still being developed, Work is in progress. Thank you Benjamin, for your comments, I can assure you, LatinVFR won't release (nor send to beta testing) a scenery that lacks the quality of payware. And we are certainly fixing things as we go. We have a very different work schedule methods and way of working that allow us to do a lot in short time, but we understand your concerns, and for KMIA you won't see anything "rushed". We are shooting for a November release, that's because we have already estimated considering the work left etc. Oh Sean, I have tried to contact you so much, but there is no way. We have since then released KEYW 1.1 and performance wise, its WAY better by all standards and all comments/feedback from all the users who had issues. I suggest you go to simmarket and go to download, and download KEYW version 1.1 try it only once, and you won't be dissapointed. As for KMIA's performance, well right now we are extremely pleased, in fact we are going to add so much eye candy because we have a lot of room left in terms of polygons. Thanks all, and glad to respond. RicardoLatinVFR
