Hello everybody, yesterday evening I joined the club and got myself ChasePlane. So far I have to say: Good job, gentleman. In terms of program design and available functions it is simply outstanding. Nevertheless, I have a small problem with TrackIR which I will try to describe in the following: I am running P3Dv3 and since FSX I have been using EZDok 1 and EZDok 2 together with TrackIR which worked flawlessly. You can move your head in every direction and the virtual head follows the movements of the real world counterpart without a problem. But with ChasePlane, I encountered an issue: First, here is a Picasso-like drawing of the "problem": https://abload.de/img/trackir_chaseplaneb4jwp.jpg On the left you see my head movement, on the right the "translation" by Chase Plane in the sim. When I turn my head to a new direction (2), the virtual head (2) turns as well to the translated direction. But when I lean forward (3) afterwards, chase plane moves the view point (3) forward from the original viewpoint/direction (1), and not the from new viewpoint/direction (2) so to speak. Does someone have the same prob? Is there a solution? The problem wouldn't bother me too much, but EZdok was able to handle this viewpoint movement. One could look to the left and right and "lean" out so to speak. Of course, Chase Plane is still beta, but I thought I'd ask. Thank you Captains! Kind Regards, Julius

TrackIR movements along xyz-axis (I don't mean rotation here) happen now in relation to plane's xyz-axes only. I'd like to have an option to change this behavior so that the movement was in relation to current Chase Plane camera and where it is pointing at. For example, if the camera is tilted up towards overhead panel and I want to move my head closer to my screen to get closer look of overhead knobs, the camera moves towards plane's nose, not towards the overhead panel as I suppose. That doesn't not feel realistic. Would it be possible to fix that?

How can I remove my all cameras from my chaseplane, i have been reseted my computer, but the cameras is saved in fsfx database, how can i reset my chaseplane, delete all cameras from all aircrafts?

Hello Guys, I had an problem. When I start ChasePlane, it takes about 50-80% of the CPU. After launching, the bridge needs about 10-20%. Is this normal and wanted ? Im running on the latest Beta version and P3D v4!

Hi, maybe there is an easy way, but I havn't found one. I saw in different videos, that it is possible to disable clipping. In some my views chaseplane clips wings(outside) or seats(inside). Is there a switch that I have overseen? in my cameras.cfg in P3Dv4 I tried to disably it by seeting to none, but nothing happened. Many thanks! Cheers!

Hello, friends, I now switched to P3Dv4.3 to 4.4 and use for my B737-800,ChasePlane v1.0.22,now I have the following problem! The start from P3Dv4.4 runs without problems, but after a selection of an airport or aircraft with OK confirm, P3D switches itself off and gets the message "disonnected from P3D". What do I have to change and I have to recreate my settings! Thank you Greetings Peter

Hello, yesterday (23.10.17) everything worked fine with ChasePlane but today, it didnt Startup anymore for some reason. I have made the decision to uninstall and install ChasePlane again, now ChasePlane doesnt install in VFXCentral after a view minutes i am getting an Error here it is: Installation Error: System.Exception: cpDownloadError at A.B.A(Boolean ) at VFXCentral.MainWindow.A(Object , DoWorkEventArgs ) at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.OnDoWork(DoWorkEventArgs e) at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.WorkerThreadStart(Object argument) here is also an Screenshot of it: http://prntscr.com/h1j05f Also the Webside of FSFX is loading extremely long for me. on loading FSX ChasePlane goes direct to a random custom view instead of my chosen airfield ? This is possibly causing a conflict with one of my payware aircraft Flight 1 Citation Mustang. When I change to cockpit view via ChasePlane I get a frame freeze & crash with Fatal error has occurred . Has anyone else had the same problem ?

Have a issue using ChasePlane with Flight1 Citation Mustang. Frame Freeze & Crashes on loading aircraft ( seems to be the centre MFD ) Has anyone else had this problem ? Been through un-installing re-installing. disengaging Anti virus etc. Still same problem could it be a conflict with ChasePlane ? Any help would be great !

Hi thanks for your work really help full It's not really a big problem but I found strange this behave, ChasePlane always crash after closing P3D latest version 3.4.22.1968. On the overall is working fine.

Hello guys, I would like to report something, not sure if it's a general issue or happening only to me. I was updating my presets when my Internet connection went down. At that moment I got a message from ChasePlane saying that it was unable to save the presets. Then ChasePlane shut down by itself. Now I cannot restart it anymore, even after restarting the computer. I got a message saying that the error was detected and reported. Could you guys please have a look at this issue? Thanks in advance for your feedback. Kr, Enrico

Hello All, I've just purchased ChasePlane, for use with P3D 5.1, however after installation I get the error message: 'It looks like something unexpected occured. A log file has been saved on yout Desktop' The main feature of the log file is: Exception: Could not load file or assembly 'SlimDX.dll' or one of its dependencies. is not a valid Win32 application. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700C1) I contacted Parallel 42 support and they sent a link to install 'SlimDX Runtime .NET 4.0 x86 (January 2012)' which I have done but unfortunately didn't resolve the issue. Before I go too far down the road of dismantling my otherwise well functioning P3D setup, just wondered if anyone else had experienced the same and found a solution? Graphics card drivers (AMD RX 5700XT) are all uptodate, windows 10 at latest version, etc. Thanks!

Hi, This morning I wanted to make a flight with P3DV3. Being on the runway, no view control works with my joystick (ThrustMaster T-flight Hotas X). It appears that ChasePlane is not connected to the simulator (Red color in ChasePlane). I have the ChasePlane activation in my exe.xml file, as below: <Launch.Addon> <Name>ChasePlane</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\OldProp Solutions Inc\ChasePlane\ChasePlane.exe</Path> <CommandLine>P3Dv3</CommandLine> </Launch.Addon> I tried normal or experimental releases of ChasePlane : same behavior: Panning is not working and all my views buttons also. Hello, I've got a problem with ChasePlane. ChasePlane simply doesn't recognize the simulator, even tho it is running. I tried reinstalling ChasePlane, VFXCentral and I deleted the Old Prop folder in %appdata%, I tried to reinstall simconnect I also tried reinstalling FSUIPC. I tried using the stable and experimental version. Nothing helped. Last thing I wanna do is reinstalling Prepar3D. But first I want to find a other solution. I'm using Prepar3Dv4.3.
