Hello, I'm not currently a user of FS2Crew NGX, though I want to be, but I have an issue... Ever since I play Arma, I've been looking for speech software to control everything by voice, but I've always come to a halt when I find my Windows 7 x64 Ultimate Edition does not come with SAPI. Since FS2Crew uses this, and I don't want the button version, I tought someone might help me fix this before I purchase. I've already asked through FlightSim, no luck. I've gone through all the steps to check if I have it, I don't. Last thing I did was copy the Windows32/Speech folder from my laptop, to the problem computer, and re-register sapi.dll, no luck either. Any help would be appreciated. =) Diego Lozano Veraza

For those of you who have struggled with having your speech recognized, this newest update might make the difference. In previous versions, the default initial speech wait time was very short (half a second) and if you did not begin speaking in that time, the recognizer engine stopped listening. This time can be set by you in the configuration window, but if you left the default, you may have had very poor results in your attempts to be recognized. The default is now 1.5 seconds (30%), so you can press the PTT button and have up to 1.5 seconds to start talking. If you hesitate longer than this, just go to the config window Voice Recognition tab and set the Speech Recognition Initial Silence Timeout to something like 50% and experiment. The default End Silence Timeout is 1.0 seconds. If you tend to hesitate in your radio call, it could cause the recognizer to stop recognizing before you are done speaking. If this happens, set the Speech Recognition End Silence Timeout to a higher percent, say 40% (2 seconds). If you tried the trial before and would like a new go at it, just send me a note (admin@pilot2atc.com) with your hardware ID from the Registration screen and I'll give you another 15 day trial ! Enjoy! Dave

Hello, I'm loving to use p2atc on every flight (MSFS2020-FBW [A32NX]) and take care (edit/config twys, rwys and gates in txi mnt) of all my airports (payware and freeware), because I like to do simflights as realistic as possible. I'm following the rules from the documentation regarding twys, gates, rwys, holdingpoints... Yesterday I installed the LSGG Payware Airport from Redwing and before fligtplaning and entering the cockpit I customized the airport data fpr LSGG in taxi mnt using the actual charts from Navigraph (Jeppesen Airport and Parking Stands for LSGG). LSGG uses two, lets say "Main TWYs" called "OUTER" and "INNER" in front of the Terminals and also connections between these TWYs named "LINK 0 to LINK 5" and "LINK A, LINK D". So I named these as shown in the charts and in the Google Image in taxi mnt. Looks fine for me...But: I I aked for txi to the rwy and/or gate, the ATC did not use/pronounce the word(s) "INNER" or "LINK", instead it spells them (INNER=India, November, November, Echo, Romeo). Did I missed something when editing the twy-names? Any help and/or clarifiacation is highly apprecaited THX Frank

Good day folks, I am a bit new and ready to purchase the program. However there are a few things I am concerned about before I put out the money! First I would like to say this is one of the best ATC options that I have found out there, Bar None! The flight planer is awesome. The SayIt feature is real nice to have. The moving map is a very nice touch to have as well to follow along on your flight!!! So thanks so much for all the hard work that has been put into this amazing product. With the Roses said, now the Thorns.... I have built a fairly new computer with amazing hardware. The specs will be below with pictures. First problem I am having is the program tends to lag/hiccup/pause then catch back up from time to time. The length of the hiccup tends to be varied times from just a few seconds to four or five minutes. Hence, after a longer pause, I will experience several ATC calls one right after another for various course, altitude or sped adjustments or radio freq changes ect. This problem is baffling! Second, Speech recognition seems to mot work at all. I am able to use Speech recognition in any other program I use it in. When I have tried to use the Grammar Helper, I all ways get a return of "FullTxt:) and it is blank afterwards. Here is a link to the picture of my computer: http://www.overclock.net/image/id/13085748/width/900/height/900/flags/LL My specs are as follows: Phanteks Enthoo Primo White Aluminum MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM MoBo AMD Ryzen 1800x 32 Gb (4x8 Gb) G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 ArcticStorm EVGA SuperNOVA 80+ PLATINUM 1000W WD Blue M.2 1TB Internal SSD Solid State Drive Mount-It! Triple Monitor Stand w/ 3x Asus VS239H-P 23-Inch Full HD 1920x1080 Custom Water Loop with parts from EK Water Blocks EK-CoolStream XE 360 (Triple) EK-CSQ Plug G1/4 - Black EK-HDC Fitting 16mm G1/4 - White EK-Supremacy EVO White Edition EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite - Plexi (incl. pump) EK-RES X3 250 - White EK-Vardar F4-120ER (2200rpm) White EK-HD Tube D.I.Y. Kit 10&12mm EK-HD PETG Tube 12/16mm As you can tell this was built with Flight Sims in mind!! I have setup my speech rec with windows and have had no issues with speech in any other program or with windows itself. I use a Turtle Beach PX22 headset and microphone combo. In closing I want to thank ev1 in advance for there replies. Thanks, John

There are many options in VoxATC to fiddle with and it is very wise to spend time training with the program. I did about six flights where I loaded up the flight plans in the flight plan trainer and went through all the lines. I don't have to do that anymore. It pretty much knows what I am saying now and I can even change the tone of my voice and sound more natural when talking to it and it will take my commands. My problem that I have and I wonder if there is a way to fix this, is to make VoxATC pronounce locations correctly. Example; I take off from Dallas Love Field a lot and one of the centers I pass through is Fort Worth Center. It is abbreviated FT Worth. VoxATC likes to say "F T Center" rather than "Fort Worth Center". Is there a way to train VoxATC how to pronounce things like this correctly? It's REALLY bad about pronouncing VOR stations.

I just recently purchased FS2Crew for the FBW a320 and I absolutely cannot get voice recognition to work. I have done every single fix on the FS2crew help section, including uninstalling, reinstalling fs2crew, changing languages, changing hardware, and so on. My voice recognition for windows works just fine with any hardware I use, I can control the pc and dictate to it flawlessly, windows (10) is up to date, all drivers up to date, everything else works great…FS2crew works great using the the keyboard, but when I try to change to voice control in the config menu, upon closing the menu I receive the error message “unable to activate windows speech recognition” and it reverts to keyboard control. Has anybody else experienced this and found a solution? any suggestions? Thanks in advance. I have also tried opening as administrator, reinstalling fbw a32nx dev version, opening win voice rec before loading, wasm is 1.0.0.0, still no luck. next ideas are emptying community folder and some other minor things but since fs2crew works fine otherwise and speech rec. does too, im lost....please help!
