Hey guys my Birthday is coming up and I am thinking about upgrading visuals. I currently have a Dell IPS 24 at 1920X1200 and have had for many many years. I want to go bigger but never ventured too far into looking for monitors. What are your guys' suggestions? Would a 27'' at 1920X1080 be just as good, since there is a significant price break between that and the higher resolution monitor? I would like to spend no more than $500 if that is reasonable. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys. Running a EVGA 670 GTX.
ScotFlieger posted a topic in LINDA DevelopmentAs LINDA users will be aware I have let the real world get in the way of LINDA development and support. This busy period should come to an end towards the end of Oct 15. Please use this thread to lodge any suggestions for improvements and to raise any issues users are experiencing with LINDA 2.6.3. Even you have been in touch with me please post a detailed description of the problem and how to reproduce it. I cannot promise that everything will be included but it will allow me to assess the workload. Note: LINDA 2.6.4 has been issued to fix a problem with odd characters on the VRI Combo 2 (Boeing) panel and may fix some Range Check error reports.
captainseb posted a topic in FS2CREW: PMDG 777Hi all, is there a way to configure FS2CREW for the PMDG 777 to turn off taxi light before turning on landing lights (and vice versa), as well as keeping the taxi light off for takeoff, approach and landing? I've looked through the forums and manual but have been unable to find it. The virtual airline I fly for has a policy of never using the taxi light and landing light at the same time, and deducts points from my overall flight score when I use FS2CREW as it will turn the taxi light on at several occasions, including runway entry procedure, takeoff, as well as on approach. If this isn't already included in the FS2CREW, it would be my number one wish if you could include it in the next update.
Jim, First, a big thanks for FSXAssist! It goes a long way to replace a medley of tweeks/tools that I've used to get FSX performance. I took the purchase of FSXAssist as an opportunity to start from scratch and build my FSX.cfg from the ground up. The results are pretty amazing and FSXAssist is the cornerstone. Two suggestions for the product that would permit someone configured like me to use FSXAssist as a start-to-finish FSX launcher. FSXAssist would completely replace the functionality of my FSX.cmd file if it could "kill" all the sub-processes that it starts upon exit from FSX. The option to set a starting FSX flight so to completely bypass the FSX splash screens, etc. would be very handy and complete the role as FSX program launcher. I would be pleased and proud to participate in any beta testing incorporating these or any other new features you wish to try. Bravo zulu as they say here at Avsim. Best wishes, Henry
