Hey thanks Randy! What are those red lines that angle through the runway guide (PFD)?This new panel is really coming along. I like the night lighting much better as well. The NG is a work of art, and PMDG couldn't have done a better job. Thanks,Chris

Ah those red lines on the PFD are from the TCAS TEST I was running ;), such a C () () L little item hehehe like a kid in a toyu store. DId you notice the COLOUR of the panel?? How about the ADDED MCP buttons? Yes SPD and ALT intervention baby!
Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpg

Better colour! Not too grey, not to purple :) Do those lines normally indicate what course of action to take with a real TCAS RA? Also, what do these new buttons do exactly? I don't think I've seen/noticed them before on any pictures, although on my desktop I have a pickie of a 737 with panel patches where these are on your panel.Great work!Geoffrey Balean (YSCB)

I'll let mr Bill Bulfer speak ;)
SPEED INTERVENTION
"The speed Intervention function, selectable by pressing the MCP SPD INTV button, is provided to allow a means of overriding the FMC's commanded speed. Selection of Speed Intervention mode will display current target speed in the MCP's speed window, automatically setting it to the commanded FMC speed. CHanges to the commanded speed can then be made via the MCP IAS-MACH knob. SPD INTV switch.......................................PUSH MCP IAS-MACH display shows current FMC target speed MCP Speed selector...................... SET DESIRED SPEED VNAV remains engaged To resume former FMC speed: SPD INTV switch.......................................PUSH MCP IAS-MACH display blanks and FMC commanded VNAV speed is active. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
ALT INTERVENTION
The Altitude Intervention feature provides the pilot with the ability to perform operations using the Altitude Select knob and the Altitude Intervention pushbutton, both on the MCP. END OF BULFER.... Altitude Intervention is much more complex than SPD INTV, a more detailed list will be provided in the manuals etc ;)
Best Wishes,Randy J.
