June 27, 200520 yr Niiiice looking Lufthansa cabin! In the upper left corner is why I can't enjoy such features :-)15 fps would mean 1-2 on my system.Looks awesome! should please the many requesters for shots like these.Boaz...
June 27, 200520 yr Randy,I would like to see some exterior shots of engines, flaps, landing struts, all fairly close-up.Michael J. Michael J.
June 27, 200520 yr My first thought was the same, it's a bit worrying that the counter is down to 15fps when in an earlier picture from just the cockpit it was 40+ ....:-eek Nice looking cabin for those passenger views though.Well, it's not the final version and perhaps there is an option to "lock out" the cabin when the cockpit door is closed, similarly as in A320 PIC where the cabin was not rendered when the door was closed.
June 27, 200520 yr those shots are simply amazing, Randy :-jumpy :-eek :DDany Setyadihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
June 27, 200520 yr May sound stupid, but when the doors are opened, are they visibly open from the virtual cabin? I don't remember if they were in the 737NG Alaister Kay
June 27, 200520 yr Shouldn't cause you a probably - you are a bloke - only women fly from the back seat.Andy b Andy Brockbank
June 27, 200520 yr That's very cool... I'm sure the texturing still has a long ways to go, since this is early, but it's already taking shape rather nicely. I was about to complain about the overhead bins looking very square-like... But I decided to look for shots and they're like that (but with smoother edges). So just in case anyone is about to say it, here's a shot. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/817720/L/ Man, was I about to look stupid. :-lolAnd Vin, still no cabin row numbers? Come on, man... That's weak. :-lol Daniel P.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgMember of SJU Photography. June 27, 200520 yr Nice looking cabin and thanks for taking the trouble to post the pictures. One thing got my attention: the window frames should be deeper, as can be seen in this picture:http://www.airliners.net/open.file/817720/LOne of the developers once told us that there would also be part of the lower-deck cabin. I sincerely hope there is. Could you confirm that?ThanksDirk

June 28, 200520 yr Could someone enlighten me about one particular feature of this cabin ...There are some slim looking 'silver' boxes mounted on the floor behind each seat. I have been scratching my head for the last hour trying to understand whe the #### they are ... :-hmmmMichael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_beta_member.jpg Michael J.
June 28, 200520 yr A note to the earlier comment on the doors in the NG -- no they are not "visable" open in the VC or cabin. No doors are animated on the interior of the NG.At least it looks like they are on this 747 **smiles**.As for the silver boxes -- in that class I believe that is extra space for folks to put their stuff :-) Though someone please correct me if I am wrong.
June 28, 200520 yr >As for the silver boxes -- in that class I believe that is>extra space for folks to put their stuff you mean like laptop, wallet and stack of cash ;)They almost look like safe deposit boxes.Michael J. Michael J.
June 28, 200520 yr Looks nice enough, but it seems as if the textures were a little rushed and need more work to me? Correcty me if I'm wrong, maybe it's the angle of the pictures taken...?
