Hi you guys.I have excatly the same problem with my PMDG software.And after a lot of testing i honestly think its a PMDG problem and not a USB or hardware problem.I have the MCP PRO running really smooth on level D i even programmed the EFIS through the FSCONV with FSUIPC and it works too perfect with the LEVEL-D.The most irretating problem is the lag and the freeze and having to reconnect on the PMDG software interface.It feels like your are on the right path, but not quit there yet if i may say so. I mean you guys have made some REALLY nice birds.Please help us !! BEBOB.

Lefteris,My son has an interest in a home built sim. We started this project a year ago. I am helping him do some of the technical work. Going commercial is his dream in a couple of years.I have sent email to GF, but no response on this topic. Perhaps I should try this again! I just assumed that this cannot be duplicated in house and may be related to a home built computer (ours was built from scratch) and it's related drivers. I was hoping a PC expert would pick up on this. PMDG has some complexities that LevelD does not have (i.e., not as CPU or graphic intensive). Rick

At least I know there are other problems out there with GF MCP Pro PMDG problems. I will next look at the USB chip set and their related drivers. Rick-your best bet is to take this up with GoFlight. They responded to me that they've escalated it to the appropriate person who should be taking care of things, but it definitely won't hurt, in my opinion, to give them a call - it seems you might have to return your unit to them to be fixed.

I too am having trouble with my PMDG MCP-Pro driver. The problems are much like those described above...lockups, freezes, etc. I have noticed that only the LEDs tend to freeze up. The knobs and switches seem to continue working, although very slowly. The LEDs seem to work when first started but freeze within minutes of use. The EFIS module I received yesterday works with no problems. It only seems to be the MCP-Pro. The MCP-Pro works flawlessly with the Level-D 767 while the EFIS unit doesn't seem to work at all with the Level-D 767 (not PMDG's responsibility...only mentioned as reference).Judging from many of the posts I've read on this forum, it seems that the PMDG interface driver still needs work. Are there plans to release a patch or upgrade? I certainly hope so!Any help will be appreciated. This hardware/software is quite expensive to work as poorly as it seems to.Thanks,Terry
