Hi Damien,The link seems to be bad. I'm getting page not found. Thanks,

That did the trick! Thanks Damien.

Hi Damian,Still no joy loading a flightplan. As soon as I press process, it locks up. I don't have any more time tonight to play with it(kiddies asleep and wifey wanted that computer), but, tomorrow I'm going to try an older version of FSUIPC. I looked in the log after it locked up and there where about 150 lines that said waiting on FSUIPC. Maybe there is a problem with my dll.ChuckCYXU

Hi DamianI have the same problem. When I load and process a new flight plan, it locks up. Windows XP Professional (English Version)FS2004 (German Version)FSUIPC 3-201 (with 3-20 and 3-14 no better results)AS2004 Build 90 (download Time 04.04.2004/0900 UTC / complete uninstall und fresh installation)Best regards Steve (LSZH)

HiCouldn't get on the forum earlier. Afraid I'm having the same prob - lock up when calculating closest wx station. Using latest build plus latest FSUIPC. Bud

Further to my post above, I've just uninstalled and reinstalled A/S with Build 84. This worked fine other than the processing etc seemed to take rather longer than when I last used it - could be my imagination. However there was no lock up. Have to assume that whatever is causing the problem was introduced into Build 90 and the previous build - 89 was it.Bud

DamianIt appears that AS2004 is not locking up processing a flight plan, but merely taking "forever and a day".Build 90 looked like it hat locked up when I attempted to process a flight plan from Hobart, Tasmania (YMHB)to Sydney Int'l (YSSY).I was about to kill AS when I had to leave the PC and when I came back roughly 20 minutes later, AS was "Analyzing Navigation Point 9 of 9". It is using up 98% CPU and obviously hardly finds the time for windows redraws, the main window is still white, but the FP window just updated with that info. Now, 3 more minutes later, AS is fetching alternate details for YSTW. Ok, after 33 minutes, the flight plan (9 waypoints) is processed and the nav log displayed.METARS are dated 041000Z.Also, while preparing my flight at YMHB, I attempted to get the weather at YSSY with a custom station fetch. It worked, but took almost 5 minutes. The current station seems to refresh normally.I'll try again with later METARS and different areas and report back. Maybe that will help you track the problem down.Best RegardsMax (Bern, LSZB)http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpg http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

Same here Damian15 minutes to process 5 points in flightplan from Sydney to Brisbane.Apart from this little pain everything else looks great. No massive wind shifts and luverly clouds all over the place.I'm heading into some really rough weather at Brisbane so we'll see how she performs.Andy b

The download that I used was from the link above downloaded at about 0400Z Thursday. Tried changing to an older version of FSUIPC, no change. I'll jump back to build 84 till you have a chance to puzzle it out. Keep up the good work.ChuckCYXU

Flew two flights last eve with build 90 - Lebanon Muni NH to Morristown NJ, then Morristown to Myrtle beach. Both flights were absolutely flawless. Loaded FS9 created flight plans without issue (processing was about a minute each, maybe two tops). The highlight for me was ascending winds - single degree SMOOTH wind shifts with single knot speed changes that occurred constantly (not every five seconds or something but continuous smooth changes). The winds over connecticut last night were around 100kts as well, and the transition was seemless. Just perfect. Decending winds were a little more abrupt, particularly crossing 6000 ft, but not unrealistic, and no issue for the autopilot.Great work guys!Best,sg
