Thanks for trialing this for me Ryan. It looks like it worked well for you, but please let me know if the instructions I provided need any clarification. One I can think of already is that I should suggest people save their current config before loading up any of the configs that I provide, so that they can return to exactly how their sim was before the test runs.Re GPS NAV, most of the default aircraft, including the CRJ700, have a GPS/NAV switch in the cockpit that, when switched to GPS, will make the autopilot NAV hold function follow the GPS route not navaids.Gary

Ryan,I just made a route up using the FS Flight Planner, including a few custom WPs to make sure the aircraft banked at the right times over the Seattle cityscape. No external planners or editing was done to the flight plan.Excel isn't essential, as CSV files can be read using notepad at a pinch. CSV stands for Comma Separate Values in text form anyway.Gary

Do you need the registered version of FRAPS to save the framerates to a file, its not mentioned as a limitation of the demo.I tried the latest version with Vista, and it creates a benchmarks directory but no files are created?

The freeware version definitely saves framerates to a file. You have to trigger a data capture by setting a Benchmarking Hotket on the FPS tab, setting the benchmark to stop after XX seconds, and selecting MinMaxAvg and the FPS checkboxes for saving detailed benchmark statistics. With FS running and in focus, hit the benchmarking hotkey you defined and the fraps counter should disappear. It should come back after XX seconds, afterwhich you can open the data capture files it created.Gary

Gary --- It just does not record a file here. I followed your instructions, used the latest fraps 2.93 but no luck. It appears to work, the counter turns green and disappears, then comes back after XX seconds but no file is created in the fraps/benchmarks dir. I have the fps checked etc.using vista 32.

try a search for *.csv by date last modified, and search in a range from yesterday to today...that's what I do when I loose track of files hehe!

That's similar to me except you run at a higher resolution....huh.....and you're video card is better...can't wait to get a new one, then I can compare and see if upgrading (from a 3 yr old card) is worth it hehe :)
