For all those with Nvidia cards, they have a fix. I just downloaded the new driver for XP which is 169.21. No longer a beta but Whol. certified. Those that have had problems with SP2,XP and a Nvidia cards I think they have fixed it. I have tried everything I can to make it fail and can't. I have shutdown and restarted my machine and it continues to work fine. Hope this works for you. Let us know what happens with you.Bob G.

What was it that was wrong with SP2, XP and Nvidia cards? I have all three and maybe Im just too dense to see something wrong right in front of my eyes.

What has been fixed? The issue with the full screen menu?

Yeah what exactly have they fixed? Im running the .25's and still having the same problems with dx10 i was having before.

As of now the 169.25s are still listed as beta on the Nvidia site.Where are you seeing the .21s listed as certified?--Tom________[a href=http://www.corpairamerica.com]http://mysite.verizon.net/tjrush/tjrcaasig.jpg[/a]

The problem was this. When you switched from the windowed mode to full screen you would get a CTD if you tried to open the menu. I:E click on "options" etc. Bob G.

Using Acceleration, XP,& DX9 these new drivers have fixed my CTD's when accessing the menus in full screen mode. I'm happy again!

Do these drivers work with nHancer?Bruceb

The 169.25's are now officially released and are WHQL for those of you who don't like to use beta drivers.

I orginally posted this thread in the FSX forum but it got moved over here. I would think it would help more people over there than here.Seems like I just keep seeing posts over there about how bad SP2 is and is there anything they can do.Just my opinion. Bob G.

They are WHQL so I would assume they are. I just switched from ATI to Nvidia and haven't installed nHancer yet. Maybe this weekend.
