March 4, 200719 yr >I would not hesitate. Its a great plane.>>I had some problems with them a few years ago, but working>with them now is quite a bit different. No problem at all.I wouldn't hesitate either, and I didn't. My problems with FSD started after I bought both the 337 and the O2. After purchasing a new computer and installing FS on it, I wanted to put both these planes on the new computer, but when trying to install, I got an error messaged, that a member of FSD (who shall remain nameless) said was an indication that I was installing a pirated version already. Now I am not quite sure why I would install a pirated version after paying for both but it seemed to make sense to FSD.I got a letter of accusing me of being a pirate, told my account on the forum had been deleted and I would no longer be allowed to purchase FSD products. Can anybody guess how disappointed that made me, not having to deal with this individual. The only unfortunate part was they already were enjoying my money from both planes. The only way I would ever consider contacting FSD again and seeing if this issue could be resolved would be if this particular individual that emailed me before was no longer associated with the company.

I suspect there may be two sides to this story. At any rate, they are clearly stating here that they have seen the light and are doing business differently. Give it a rest huh fella?
March 5, 200719 yr Hi Tim.Hope you're still whatching this thread..... I've sent several emails but have not heard anything since Your last post here. Are you still not getting my emails? I just want one to get through. March 5, 200719 yr My finger is on the trigger for the O2-A and it's getting very itchy. Tim, are you saying that the procedures have changed in the last year or so or do you think I may still have problems? I know you said I had your iron clad guarantee but I'm still too nervous to try as I would not want to lose my Porter like Dougal! When I went to buy the Avanti a few years ago I was told that I had used a keygen for something and even though it was my word against yours I ended up getting a refund and it was left at that. The point is that other than re-installing FS9 since then, my system hasn't changed a bit. At the time you said the only way around it was to re-format and re-install WinXP which I wasn't going to do then and have no plans to now.So, if I buy and try to install the O2-A is it still going to tell me that there is something on my system it doesn't like or have the install procedures changed? And would I get a refund? For the record, I have never used a keygen and didn't even know what one was until then but let's not go there again. If the install procedures have been brough into line with Flight1 etc then I am definately coming back as a repeat customer but I'm still unclear about what if anything may have changed as when I nearly bought the O2-A over the weekend I saw big red warning signs all over your site which scared me away!Thank you.
March 5, 200719 yr Hi Mesa and anyone else still following this.....I'm now back in email comms with Tim at FSD who is still trying to help me. March 5, 200719 yr Congratulations Dougal and Tim, I'm very glad you got your Porter back Dougal! I know from this and others forums how much you missed it. Keep your fingers crossed for the rest of us too!
March 5, 200719 yr I too, am happy that this issue got resolved and applaud the FSD team's willingness to step up to the support issues that were tabled here. Why not take this opportunity and move further FSD support issues to the FSD support forum, where they belong! Bert
March 5, 200719 yr FSD are to be applauded for helping Dougal Bert but there are still issues on the table for some of us. If you have no issue with them then you don't need to read this thread do you ;-)
