May 30, 200917 yr Hi, First off, very glad the forum is back! Congrats!Just a couple of days before the forum went offline i couldn't reach it with Firefox. Now it's back and i still can't reach it with Firefox, it's taking forever and then just stops.I was always able to reach the forums with FF and nothing changed on my side.I can reach it with Google Chrome and IE.I hope someone knows what's going on or what to do, cause ff is my fav browser.Greetings Eric MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus | Intel Core i9-10900K @ 5.3GHz | 64GB Corsair Vengeance | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 | 500 GB M.2 NVMe for win | 2TB M.2 NVMe for FS2024 | TrackIr v5 | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Eric from EHAM, a flying Dutchman.
May 30, 200917 yr Hi Eric, not sure what the problem is, viewing and replying in firefox with no problems so it's not the forums. Hope this helps.Steve
May 30, 200917 yr Same here, no problem with Firefox, if anything AVSIM runs better in Firefox than in other browsers, I've tried it with Safari on a Mac and IE too. IE was a bit slow and did not like opening PMs, but Firefox and Safari were both fine.Perhaps try re-installing it?Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

May 31, 200917 yr Commercial Member Okay thanks, must be on my side then. I will try reinstalling. It is possible that you have an extension of some sort which could be causing the "hang". Try disabling those which connect to online sources for whatever reason and check connectivity. Generally speaking the fewer extensions the more snappy Firefox is.I also occasionally get "hangs" on some sites, but mine are in no way exclusive to AVSIM. Just refresh/reload and the page comes up properly just about always. I just put this down to being on the arse end of the planet... Konrad
