June 9, 200916 yr Looking at the screenshots, the Quality Wings 757 looks a lot like the Level-D 767. Of course, they share a common panel and the real world aircraft shares the same type rating; but is quality wings in any way closely or loosely affiliated with the guys over at Level-D Sim? ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

Any similarities are just down to the fact that they're similar aircraft and the QW 757 wont be as functional as the level-d. i7 2600k @ 5.1Ghz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz, EVGA GTX 580 @ 950MHz, OCZ Vertex II 240GB, ASUS Xonar DG, Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W PSU, Antec KÜHLER 620 W/C, Corsair 600T SE White My FS9 Screens - http://fs9screens.blogspot.com/ Callum Richardson

June 9, 200916 yr Author According to their site "And with Mid-Level systems programming, we've simplified the simming experience while providing you the look and feel that makes the Boeing 757 such a special airplane to fly". Wordy way of saying "F-lite". ;) ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
June 9, 200916 yr Is the quality sim 757 is out, i'll stick with the Captain Sim 757 with block F, is it better? What's gotta a better cockpit and FMC systems etc?Is the Captain Sim best 757 now? With Block F and navigraph updats now available?Or is quality Sim's better? I want a Captain Sim PSS merge and POSKY PSS merge...757Anyone got one?
June 9, 200916 yr Author Go to the Quality Wings website for starters and do a little research. There's lots of information out there. I have the feeling the QW 75' will be a little easier on lower end machines. Also read above--all the info kind of in a nutshell. BTW, try searching the forum for the merge, it's been discussed a few times. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

I have the captainsim 757 for fs9 but it is every heavy on fps I don't expect the quaitlywings 757 to take that much frame rates when it comes out and I don't always want pmdg lds complexity, and the lds757 is fsx only. June 10, 200916 yr Hi,If there is a "correct" and functionnal 757 around, it can only be the PSS version at the moment, if anyone is thinking about getting a 757 please do consider it. Onur K. Visit my FS blog: Clear Right...
June 10, 200916 yr I just hope they are close to releasing that bird, from the shots it looks great, and when released I'll probably stick to 757 flying, there's something about that bird I really really love.... one of the great disappointments for me was the fact theLevel D 757 will never make it to FS9,I would've bought it in a heartbeat, and this one looks like it'll be really nice.If only they'd release the dang thing :( :( All joking aside,it does look very good,I might buy it upon release. Now to get on their forum :/
June 11, 200916 yr Commercial Member Nice to see a little interest in our product guys!Allow me to clear up a few things as a few of you have some questions regarding functionality and performance. What we mean by mid level systems programming is that it won't be a full blown simulations of systems like a PMDG or LDS product but it'll cater to users that would like a high end and simple simulation all in one.I'd say that our 757 will have much more system programming than let's say a CLS product, but like I said it won't be all out with the systems. You'll still be able to do things that you would expect from a LDS or PMDG addon. It has a Smith style FMS which is slightly different than the Pegasus based FMC that many of you are used to with the LDS 767. The product will come with a full database of Navdata, Sids, Stars etc. We are still unsure about future updates after the release. We also are going to have the option of importing default FS Flight plans and FS Build files. You'll be able to do autoland, it comes with a working thrust mode select panel, overhead and an outstanding virtual cockpit by POSKY's own Jacob Kubique.Ernie/Jacob also did the retrofit 757/767 panel, which are the upgraded flightdecks that some of these aircraft have with the large LCD screens. In my opinion you won't find a better model, Lars/Stefano did pretty much every variant out there and our painters have done roughly 100 liveries. All of this of course with FPS in mind and a product that will be compatible with both FS9 and FSX. :)Emil SerafinoQW Sound Designer
June 11, 200916 yr did you mention to forget the sounds by ...well gee,I guess that would be you :( So the sounds -as evidenced by a video- are as good as the rest of theplane is.but seriously,it is looking to be a really nice simulationof my favorite bird. The hardest part is waiting for it,it looks to be so close to release !
June 11, 200916 yr I honestly can't wait for the QW 757. I've been savin' my money to buy it. I just hope that the beta can get straightened out so we can have at it already lol Danny
