July 26, 200916 yr i've searched around, and i've found quite a few large payware jets. my plane of choice is the pmdg 747. but i really want to find a nice smaller jet, such as a citation or learjet. are there any payware/ freeware smaller jets out there that are worth it? it has to have an FMC. thanks in advance guys! July 26, 200916 yr Yeah that one is good, it doesn't have an FMC though - but the G1000 is very nice and you can enter SIDs/STARs etc and it will fly WAAS approaches as well | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

July 26, 200916 yr We are building a CJ1+ Citationjet with FMC but it's not yet ready for prime time. You may find out more about that project in our support forums. :(

I'm sure someone will jump in here if I am. Having said that, there are a few addon FMC's that will work with them.I'll give ya my .02 on bizjets, since I own about all of them. Of course these are my opinions only, others will disagree.Right up front, my all time favorite is the EagleSoft CJ1+ for a good all around jet. it's not the fastest, but none of the 'straightwing' jets are, thats why they are designed that way.If you want 'high and fast', the ES Citation X is the best and also the fastest production jet on the market. I tried the Wilco but ES for me beats it.I own just about every bizjet I can find, including the Flight 1 Mustang. That plane is great on eye candy, but for me its not only too slow, but the G1000 (which is the main reason I bought it) doesnt have some of the main features of the real one that I think it should have, like VNAV, so I dont fly it much now.I also have the ES Hawker and CJII, but I dont fly them much anymore, as the CJ1 and C X take up most of my time.Hope this helps, your milage may vary.
July 26, 200916 yr The Mustang doesn't have an FMC. The G1000 is everything you could need! It's capable of the same stuff fully functioning FMCs are with VNAV capability, plus great visualization and simplification. (At least the real one is...) I know the Flight1 Mustang to be accurate, too, as I have a bit of time logged with this equipment; the G36 Bonanza's version. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
July 26, 200916 yr This is a "small" jet and has a working FMC: Eaglesoft Cessna Citation X 2.0Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.
July 26, 200916 yr This is a "small" jet and has a working FMC: Eaglesoft Cessna Citation X 2.0Andreas...but only for FSX.Btw. My vote is for the Mustang. :-)
July 26, 200916 yr ...but only for FSX.Btw. My vote is for the Mustang. :-)Do you mean only for FS9? I don't think the FSX version is out yet, looking at the webby today (you had me all excited for a min!) Paul Skol

July 26, 200916 yr I'll be waiting for the new Eaglesoft model, myself. I hope the FMC finds its way into the X also. (hint...hint)As for now theres a new freeware Citation X out, but on another site. No FMS but it incorporates the GPS nav data into a very convincing rendition of the Honeywell Primus 2000 glass. Plane flies like a dream. FSX only. Really whets my appetite for these updated Eaglesoft entries :( CraigG

July 26, 200916 yr ...but only for FSX.Btw. My vote is for the Mustang. :-)The Cessna is for BOTH FS9 AND FSX!Don't know what you expect, this bird is the ONLY small jet with a full functioning FMS. There's simply no other currently, period.Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.
July 26, 200916 yr To clarify: Eaglesoft Citation X Extreme 2.0 with FMS for FS9 is available now.Eaglesoft Citation X Extreme 2.0 with FMS for FSX is nearing completion and an official announcement will be made when she is completed.Eaglesoft Citationjet CJ1+ Extreme 2.0 with FMS for FS9 is nearing completion and an official announcement will be made when she is completed.Eaglesoft Citationjet CJ1+ Extreme 2.0 with FMS for FSX is nearing completion and an official announcement will be made when she is completed. It is our understanding that Citation X is a "medium" sized jet as opposed to Citationjet CJ1+ which falls into the "small jet" category. :(
