PC12 Overhaul Mod V1.0 and N594WA Repaint Released
pavel replied to autogyro's topic in PC12 FSX | P3D
No, they are Carenado GPS units. The first is used for COM1/NAV1/DME1 and the second is for COM2/NAV2/DME2. I have P3D v3.1. I have extracted C:\Prepar3D v3\gauges\GPS530_3D_PC12.CAB file into C:\Prepar3D v3\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado PC12\panel\GPS530_3D_PC12 folder. In this new folder I have edited both GPS_5302.xml and GPS_5302_3D.xml. And renamed original C:\Prepar3D v3\gauges\GPS530_3D_PC12.CAB to C:\Prepar3D v3\gauges\GPS530_3D_PC12.off -
PC12 Overhaul Mod V1.0 and N594WA Repaint Released
pavel replied to autogyro's topic in PC12 FSX | P3D
Ok, I have managed to fix it. I have changed a code in GPS530_3D_PC12 gauge in both GPS_5302.xml and GPS_5302_3D.xml: NAV DME:1 to NAV DME:2 NAV IDENT:1 to NAV IDENT:2 NAV RADIAL:1 to NAV RADIAL:2 It looks like Carenado forgot to change it when they copied from GPS_530.xml and GPS_530_3D.xml... Now I am happy with PC12 :-) -
PC12 Overhaul Mod V1.0 and N594WA Repaint Released
pavel replied to autogyro's topic in PC12 FSX | P3D
Hello, great work on this mod, thank you. I have one problem with this plane: There is DME1 on the second GNS where NAV2 is tuned. Is it possible to fix it to show DME1 on the first GNS only and to show DME2 on the second GNS only, please? I would like to see both DME1 and DME2 at the same time. -

Jim, let us know when the installer is fixed, please. -
There is a guide how to run FSX missions in P3D at the bottom of the review article http://www.simreviews.com/2016/01/31/fs-academy-on-instruments I have not tried it yet but looks promising.

Prepar3D v3 Not loading since latest Windows 10 Preview update build
pavel replied to thomamaxi's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Paul, check file C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\dxdiag.txt whether it has actual date. If yes you can find there where is the problem. Yesterday my P3D v3.1 was crashing during startup. I found that FSUIPC is the problem so I installed the newest version and it fixed it. -
Just Flight DH 104 Dove missing sound files in P3D?
pavel replied to AviatorMan's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
I have searched all folders of P3D v3.1 and there are no such files. The same for FSX Gold edition... -

Hello, how Flight1 KA B200 works in P3D v3.1, please? Has got anyone experience with it? I do not own B200 yet so I have no access to their forum. P.

It blends nicely. You can see it on my screens labeled Descent to Sedona and Sedona in sight. Blue Sky scenery is little darker but the overal impression is pretty compact. Yes, 29Palms made a great job with all those compatibility options (FTX SCA, FTX Global, Megascenery, Blue Sky scenery). Cheers.

P3D v3.1, ASN, Rex4 Flysimware Mitsubishi MU-2B-60 29Palms KTNP FTX Sedona Airport Blue Sky Scenery Arizona and California Taxiing at Twentynine Palms Shadows in the cockpit are really cool Mitsubishi MU-2B is a beautiful airplane Crossing California/Arizona border at Needles Hualapai and Aquarius Mountains More photorealistic scenery (freeware Blue Sky Scenery) Turning over Prescott to a Sedona direction Descent to Sedona Passing Cottonwood during the descent Sedona in sight I was calculating my ToD to be at 7000 MSL over Sedona airport but I started my descent too late (5 miles past the ToD) so I ended a little high and fast over Sedona airport Upwind leg for left hand traffic On a downwind leg On final and landing Turning to taxiway Looking for parking spot Founded!

Wouldn't it be cool if PMDG did a CRJ-200?
pavel replied to 6FingerSays's topic in PMDG General Forum
Sorry, I would rather like to see a new version of B1900D or C... But of course I would buy PMDG CRJ-200...like all PMDG products :-) -
Devils Mountain Lodge Airport was quite chalenge for me to land on. http://www.airnav.com/airport/PABN/ Third landing in the video: Pavel PS: Maybe it is not the most interesting airport, but I wanted to make my 100th post :)

Personally, I like Xtreme Prototypes 20 very much, It is challenging to handle it. You have to think ahead a lot. You can watch my old video here It is taken from replay so the sound is skewed and no yokes animations here and so on...

Hi Kevin, I own Uiver/Flight 1 DC-2 and I have to fully recommend it. It is a masterpiece - external model, virtual cockpit, flight systems and dynamics...best vintage aircraft i saw in FSX. Pavel

GA aircraft with the correct stall warning horn
pavel replied to pavel's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Dear David, i did not change anything :-) I am still asking simming colleagues if there is any GA addon aircraft which stall warning horn start to sound before the stall actually occur. Maybe my english is not very well as i am not native engish speaking person. So please, accept my apologies for possible confusion by my poor english.BTW here is an interesting study about stall in flight: stall It is not the first source i see where someone is talking about 5 - 10 knot safe margin before the stall actually occur.pavel -
GA aircraft with the correct stall warning horn
pavel replied to pavel's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
I am not talking about the sound quality or authenticity. I am talking about the correct time of triggering that sound. The problem is that the sound is started at the moment the aircraft is already in stall. That is too late.
