September 11, 200916 yr Gentleman,Have seen your latest creation with the release of the J41 and love what it represents. However, having scoured the forums for an FSX version of the B1900 and only see mention of an FS9 portover, even supported by PMDG. Is there not a plan to make an FSX version of the B1900C or D? Please tell me it's in the works and I can wait. Thanks for great products.Matt
September 11, 200916 yr Commercial Member the B1900 ports over to FSX just fine if you follow the instruction in PMDGOPS.Nothing has been mentioned about doing an updated FSX one and I doubt it would be considered. Can't say that I'd turn one down though, the B1900 is my SECOND favorite turboprop. Noah Bryant
September 11, 200916 yr I would love to see a 1900C/D, I bought the fs9 product and as good as it was PMDG and Express Product should never be mentioned in the same sentence, I hope they never test those waters again, I want the real deal not an express product,

Can't say that I'd turn one down though, the B1900 is my SECOND favorite turboprop.I reviewed a few port over instructions and it seems there are some existing issues with various instruments but ultimately really like the nicer looking FSX specific designed aircraft. I just hoped PMDG would do a pure FSX versus supporting an un-official port over. I own two PMDG products and love their attention to detail and am just hoping they truly consider remaking the 1900 into a true FSX product. Just out of curiousity, what is your favorite turboprop? I too am a big turboprop fan. ThanksMatt

September 11, 200916 yr Commercial Member Well my favorite turboprop used to be the B1900, until about 6 days ago when it became the J41 Noah Bryant
September 11, 200916 yr Commercial Member Well my favorite turboprop used to be the B1900, until about 6 days ago when it became the J41We've considered a full port and major enhancement to the B1900 series to FSX. Right now, however, our plate is overflowing, so if it ever happens (and that's a big if), it won't be for some time. Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
September 11, 200916 yr You can port the 1900 to FSX? :( Where the hell have I been! Is it safe? Does it behave well? (no ctd) or crazy conflictions? My appologies if this has been addressed but this the first I've heard about it, and I have been simming for 22 years! PMDG web site, follow the instructions, it's easy and works beautifully :)I think the absolute next thing on the PMDG plate has to be the 737 NGX. I just gotta have a proper 737 in FSX! :( George Fisher FS Economy - Gives You a Reason to Fly Virtually

September 11, 200916 yr I did the port over, and was never really happy with the way it behaved. Had some wierd sound issues where it would sound like it was in an echo chamber, and the lighting was a bit funky. Thats why I was so looking forward to the J41 coming out.

Had some wierd sound issues where it would sound like it was in an echo chamber, and the lighting was a bit funky. Thats why I was so looking forward to the J41 coming out.I found that it's no worse or better than it was in FS9. I need to use the 1900 in FS Economy, otherwise I wouldn't bother to port it over. It just shows how much more the software has progressed when compared to the J41 :(The sound thing must be on your end, it sounds like it always has to me. :( George Fisher FS Economy - Gives You a Reason to Fly Virtually
September 11, 200916 yr I found the 1900C was ok ported over but never liked the 1900D when that was ported over... maybe because the D was for 2002 perhaps. The 1900D just never looked right somehow and as it flies so similar to the 1900C I personally saw no point in keeping the one that didn't look right. Just my personal opinion.John Ellison
