November 28, 200916 yr :( Ok, I am not the first one who post this, but I cant believe there is no "complex" nice T777 for FSX on the market!!! :(I am talking about PMDG, LVLD, Coolsky, MAddog, CSim etc etc pp There are so many 767 on the market but why no decent 777, I know its a matter of taste but IMO the 777 is a very nice plane....I hope one day we will have the T777 in FSX McDaniel out:-)
November 28, 200916 yr I agree. someone needs to make a -200, -200ER, -200LR, -200LRF, -300,-300ER complete package

November 29, 200916 yr the fact that it is the most advanced boeing product out there? A true beast that does what 4 engined 747s do? Electronic checklists, fly by wire, exterior cameras, long range, powerful and big engines... what isn't there to like?
November 29, 200916 yr the fact that it is the most advanced boeing product out there? A true beast that does what 4 engined 747s do? Electronic checklists, fly by wire, exterior cameras, long range, powerful and big engines... what isn't there to like? And that is partly why no one wants to develop one a la PMDG style. An electronic checklist, fly-by-wire, and all the extra stuff would be a lot of work. The basics of it aren't much different than the 744, but enough changes in performance and detail that it would take a long time to make a good one. I think the biggest problem a payware developer would face is that dozens of people would "demand" an EFB and camera views that would be hard to implement. The camera views not so much, but an EFB would be a complete nightmare and eat resources like crazy. Sure we have EFBs that allow NaviGraph charts and other info, but to include that in the panel would present a lot of problems.Unless one is being developed in total secret, I don't think you'll see one in the next few years. The 777 question comes up every other week and all the good developers ignore it or say it isn't in the cards. Sorry.Personally, I want more short to medium range aircraft like the new 737NG, Dash-8, or a CRJ. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired

November 30, 200916 yr Author OMFG!!!! What is the fascination with this airplane??????????? wacko.gif pee pee poo pooWow, those are some very nice comments, I am the only one who is 34 years old and using the sim? :-)1. "Fascinating" is a matter of taste, so we dont discuss about it2. Pee pee poo poo ??? :-)In FS9 I was happy with the PSS/Posky merge, yes there where some proplems, but it was a nice package. The T7 is one of my favorite aircraft out there, why? good questions, somehow I love the proportions and the shape, also the wing is a piece of art :-)....and yes I am a Boeing driver :-)Oh...I cant wait for the NG 737 and I would love to have a Dash8 (ala Fanda/PMDG) :-)McDan out

I understand everyone has their own "favorite" plane they want modeled in FS. My irritation is that someone posts this question about the 777 about 20 times a month. It gets old. 3000 topics a year asking for a 777 isn't going to ignite the development of one such beast. So many aircraft that are flown way more and would probably sell better, yet no one seems to be begging for them. I don't get it. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
December 27, 200916 yr What I want to know is what is so fascinating about the 767 that developers feels the need to create 500 of the damn things! Once the LDs was released the book should have been closed on that one!
December 27, 200916 yr Perhaps developers are capitalizing on previous offerings by developing more B767s. Their reasoning could be "if the Level-D is flown so much by so many, it's very likely some of the same would purchase my version." While I agree there are many posts on a missing B777, I see them as avid flight simmers telling vendors what's missing. I am not qualified to say what is difficult to implement, but based on what I see around, it isn't hard to conceptualize a somewhat complete B777 simulation. If the reason we don't have a PMDG/Level-D style B777 simulation was that it is too complex to simulate, then we will not see a similar type simulation for a B787 for a long while. December 27, 200916 yr Why don't you guys go complain at PMDG for a 777.No one's ever done that before! :( Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!
January 16, 201016 yr Author Why don't you guys go complain at PMDG for a 777.No one's ever done that before! :(HAHAHA :( :( PMDG 777:=======Estimated Release: Late 2010/Early 2011(not firm)One of the things that caused us to slow down on the NGX was our desire to develop a technology bed that would allow us to rapidly integrate systems and technology into future products without re-programming from the ground-up (as has been our habit since 1999...) To that end, we will rapidly move from the little Boeing Twin to the Big Boeing Twin.... Given what we can tell of our new development process, the timeline on this project will be driven by how quickly we get the NGX through the beta testing process. We have tremendous assets behind us thanks to Boeing's continued cooperation, so we anticipate this being one of the shortest development cycles in PMDG's history... That's what some planning ahead will do for you!As many of you know- the 777 has been a favorite of ours from back in the early days of PMDG- and we are looking forward to finally doing this airplane justice in the MSFS world.
