I have installed all of the recommended changes authored by *******/BEJOTE. While they do not give me 60fps in New York they do allow me to use some autogen. There are no bad effects from the changes. I did not expect my lo-end system to have a extreme benefits and there were none. I would hazard a guess that when I upgrade these changes will reap some real benefits.Now for the mia culpa. I lumped all changes/tweaks into one basket. Having sene so many over about 8 years of "FSing" that either had no effect or were very specific to a particular setup. Some of them actually caused worst performance of a few systems. So seeing yet another set of fixes I thought here we go again. The users that benefit will tout the wonder of the changes while those that see no real change will be silent and go on their way. Well my mistake was obvious. I had not tried the set of changes and was thus quite wrong to make any detrimental commentary. My apologies to all for the miracle fixes comment. Even the people who post what are obviously not a viable fixes deserve respect and encouragement for their efforts. It is all to easy to engage your ego and point out, in a condescending manner, the error of their ways. Bad manners, but unfortunately a result of being anonymous with no fear of getting whacked with a baseball bat.So, let the fixes roll in. Even if one of them wipes out FSX it is not a justification to attack the person who provided the change or to lump his/her efforts onto one pot of condemnation.
