April 20, 201016 yr Author Stick to the topic but please feel free to share any opinion regarding this thread, just keep it cival! All of us live in the real world and Microsoft tends to do what ever they feel like, that said we cannot stop caring about certain things relating to the flight simulator on that basis. Communies are unity, and I am more than happy to try to encurage people to show MS that it still a huge marked, if that is wrong, well shame on you for saying so, is it realistic, no but one got to participate to win, only loosers stand on the sideline with their big mount and shabby attitude. The road is both difficult and very long, most certain unrealistic as well, but my agenda will allways be to have somthing to aim for, no matter what the outcome is.So please, keep it cival guys, let us keep enjoying the flightsim community, our passion and love for this game.In any way possible..... April 20, 201016 yr Having said that are we even sure we want another flight sim from MS? In my opinion it is perhaps time for someone else to take up the challenge.Exactly! Mark CYYZ

April 24, 201016 yr While there's nothing "wrong" about trying to at least get one's opinion and feelings "seen" throughout the Webiverse, I have to ask:Given that the 100.000 Microsoft Flight Simulator Fans Facebook Group was a flop, why another? This group was begun by Francois Dumas two days after ACES's closure announcement, and was promoted heavily on nearly every FS website and blog known to mankind, yet...100.000 Microsoft Flight Simulator Fanshttp://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=59637588200Only 3,236 members after nearly three years... :(OTOH, it costs me nothing but a few seconds to add my name to the list of those who support the Flight Simulator franchise! The only reason I ever signed up for facebook was to join the 100.000 MS FS Fans Group. And I'm seriously considering "unsubscribing", 'cause I don't particularly like the facebook cult. :( It may not hurt to join another support group, but I very much doubt the use of it all.
April 25, 201016 yr Commercial Member Tom,Don't let the "nay-sayers" scare you away. They ight be from the same group of people who said "man was never meant to fly" :( Software companies do listen to what its customers are saying and on occasion do make changes based on user input (I recall a little program called Vista). Ok, a little bigger program but how about FSX with its SP1 and SP2 releases. FS2004 with its SP1 update. Do you think those updates came about by simmers quietly sitting in their cockpit? No, they did a lot of squawkin'! We can be a rowdy bunch. The effort may not make any changes but it still may get noticed. I will say I read a few weeks back that a company in Redmond, WA was hiring beta testers for a new flight simulator. So something is coming down the pike. Something's in the hangar waiting to come out.Clutch Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)
