Ok i dont know what happened but last night my fsx was running a locked 23FPS on 1920x1080 and today in fsx im getting 7fps in the cockpit and 2 outside. IDK what the hell is going on. IO just installed my new Xbox 360 controller for PC but i dont think that would make a difference. I Dont know what to do Please help. Here are my specs...

Don't know, you've got a couple of tweaks in there:TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=40that is really high...What about renaming fsx.cfg to fsx.bak and lettingFSX rebuild the cfg file... That gives you a clean starting point.

High??? That's FSX default!! 400 would be high. If he has a mid range to high end system he can (and should) bounce that up to about 80. I think though the best thing for him to do, though is rebuild his fsx.cfg file.

Hey Steven let me ask you are you flying near or over any large bodies of water? Im having a similar issue, if I fly near or over a large body of water my machine is crippled down to 5 -10 fps, if I look away from the water or there is no water present my fps are rock solid, I thought it may have been a combination of the new shader mod and my rex textures, but I removed the shader tweak and the problem still exists, try a flight in a land locked area and see if your fps go back to normal, let me know because I just don't know what is going on with my rig either, If this is your problem I posted this on the REX forums aswell.

You know to think about it i have been flying by large body's of water. And when i change my view it goes to solid fps i never though about that. But what could be causing our problem.

I have no idea, Im going to start uninstalling addons today to see what is causing this, I have used REX since its release and never had any issues before. What Aicraft have you been using? I have only been flying the PMDG MD11 lately. I might see if I can make it happen with another AC first.

And does yours do this, in fullscreen mode if I zoom out the earth is a glowing light blue.
