May 28, 201016 yr Dave, sorry I had to post here but I tried and tried to reply to your PM but apparently you blocked me. Hmmm. Not sure why.Your post to me:"Mitch,I've had a look at your various posts here.It seems like you have nothing to ever contribute, you just to come to Avsim and make rude, disrespectful or insulting posts.Next alert and you are out. It's up to you."My reply:Dave, your fairly new and apparently a little thinned skinned. So basically what your saying is this: If you disagree with someone, you have nothing to contribute.Absolutely amazing your so shallow and uninformed. For your information, Avsim has hosted my website:http://www.avsim.com/project757/home2.htmlfor over 10 years. Yes little buddy, I have contributed a ton. You just have your little feathers ruffled because I had the audacity to question your "buddy's" you seem to look up to.Dave, you really need to get a grip. I use no profanity or attack folks on here.I just "roll my eyes" a lot at some of the information posted here by "YOUR" so-called experts. It is absolutely ridiculous at some of the things people like "Geoffrey" post here. I understand he pilots a single engine aircraft in real life. Impressive. I guess. But for crying out loud some of the things he and Bejote posts are simply asinine. There are many of us on here that blog on a consistent basis that laugh at some of the things posted here. I do not need to waste my time and give you their credentials in real life. Suffice it to say they exceed yours tenfold. I love Avsim and hate to see a "select" few lead people to believe what they say is gospel. Too many folks have spent needless money listening to some of these so-called experts spew their wisdom telling them they need this and that.So if disagreeing with someone offends you, wow, I do not know what to tell you my friend.Perhaps I should just take this up with Tom who I have met and drank with at over 4 Avsim conventions. Michael

"Interesting-despite 3 posts from others and myself telling him otherwise he still wants to believe I fly a single engine aircraft only.No wonder he is not aware of his rudeness in not only the thread he refers to but the other threads also.As for "little buddy" that certainly does not apply to you David-but might to me... :lol..and I seriously doubt his credentials surpass yours David or Jeremy..perhaps mine though. Thanks for the toast David-hope we can do it for real sometime! I got close with Jeremy but the "single" he was flying that day didn't want to do the 40 knt. xwinds ..and by the way "your" in Delta's post is spelled wrong and used incorrectly...so I don't think you need to be embarassed about your writings here. May 29, 201016 yr David, Sometimes the best response is no response at all. I've noticed this type in most of the forums I've read elsewhere. It seems that most forum responses are spent arguing with each other, than helping. "Caution is the elder brother of wisdom"
May 29, 201016 yr Interesting-despite 3 posts from others and myself telling him otherwise he still wants to believe I fly a single engine aircraft only.No wonder he is not aware of his rudeness in not only the thread he refers to but the other threads also.Well, that actually depends.. if you takeoff with two engines, and one dies at V2, you fly a single engine.. and if it happens every time you do really fly one engine! We never know, because you never told us..The rating is something different..Lol!Take care guys, it isnt worth it.

May 30, 201016 yr Hey come on guys, criticize him for what he writes by all means, but not for spelling and grammar. I think that's way out of line. It belittles not just him, but also makes people like myself very hessitant to post.ThanksDougal,You probably missed in David's 1st post "he laughed at my mistakes in English (sorry...it's not my native language as everyone can see! :--)) "So that is the source of the bantering in this thread about grammer and spelling-his critic of David's writings, while his own writing is filled with errors.Actually, his attack on David is the first I have seen of someone bringing up spelling and grammar here as a complaint...and considering the plentyful mistakes in his post people are pointing out the double standard.I am sure this may be the last time we see such a complaint, as most people here realize that avsim serves an international community where English is not a primary language. May 31, 201016 yr Commercial Member In my opinion commenting on other people's control of English (or lack thereof) should simply be against forum rules. I'm actually surprised to see it apparently is not. Konrad
June 5, 201015 yr My policy is if I'm honestly trying to help someone and they get smart with me, I won't answer any more of Their posts. "Caution is the elder brother of wisdom"
