I followed Nick's tweaks with the nHancer, bought P-North West and was just amazed how my rig was running, my specs are below and i'm not running garbage as you see.In my fscong. file i don't have the [bufferpool] thing affinity mask or nothing in there and do NOT have the external frame rate utility, just had Nick's set up cause the way it was running i didn't think i needed it cause she was purring alone just ticky . . But like usual i went and put in the new nHancer 2.5.9 and that was a mistake cause this thing has to run better then this since i slapped that thing in there , i should of left it alone. Now every now and then i have a white sheet of light zip in and out, and when i look out my window to the ground she was so nice and smooth but now she's jerking. Hi Louis,Delete your fsx.exe file and let FSX build you a new one. At that point you can add your tweaks one at a time so as to be able to measure what is what. There is sanity and a rational mix of tweaks, but true enough, if you follow everyone's advice you will have a mutated monster that self destructs.Link yourself up with someone who has a good system and great performance and mirror what they do and you will be alright. Otherwise you will be lost deep in the forest at night without a trail of bread crumbs to follow.Stephen

With your rig and the fact you're using NHancer and the fact you're using an ATI video card, your best to go with Nick's guidance although the BP=0 tweak shouldn't hurt. I don't use NHancer and get great FPS (most of the time) plus awesome graphics and just use the tweaks suggested by *******. BTW, nice rig...Best regards,Jim

OH MY GOSH! I can't believe I wrote that! NOT .EXE, but .CFG! It is sometimes a VERY good thing I don't really fly 747s! I might make the headlines after becoming a smear on the concrete!Stephen

I've personally been tempted to trash my fsx.exe file at least two dozen times. Now that we have *******' tweaks and the hardware has caught up to FSX, those urges have subsided.

Even with my system, I still had to use nhancer and tweak the cfg (use bp=0) in order to get FSX working great.It was worth the effort.

Ok thanks guys and i did delete the conf. and let it redo itself .And i'l try the buffer pool thing ---Louis
