July 2, 201015 yr Commercial Member Only a few companies have chased developers regarding their aircraft. Gulfstream has been the most aggressive with their 'cease and desist' notices from their lawyers. Threats to sue by a company of that size compared to the average developer house are 1000% effective as the developers have no financial power to defend with. Gulfstream's primary reasoning, near as I can tell... intellectual property rights because their window shapes are patented. Which I find interesting.... didn't know drawing an oval could get me sued. :( Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69

July 3, 201015 yr Quote,.."but it is a 'special' oval having cost millions, no BILLIONS, in development and research ..." People tend to forget that the United States taxpayers subsidized that whole company with Grumman's use of tax dollars to build military aircraft. The G1 and 2 progressed out of that funding. To then go after small developers for making a model, is typical of the greed, and arrogance of corporate America.
