July 28, 201015 yr Commercial Member I am using a Saitex X52 with registered FSUIPC. I have FSUIPC set up so that pressing the #20 button (throttle 1 below detent) repeatedly reduces thrust (to activate reversers) and releasing the button takes throttle to 0. I've noticed that when I start FS, this function wont work. I press the button and nothing happens. I go into FSUIPC and verify that the assignment is still set up (it is) and then when I exit FSUIPC it works perfectly. It seems it wont work until I go into FSUIPC then exit.Any ideas? It's not a HUGE deal, but it's annoying when I forget to do this and then land, then my reversers wont work. Noah Bryant

July 28, 201015 yr Did you disble controllers in fsx menu? "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
July 28, 201015 yr HelloHave a look in your Fsuipc.ini forJoystickTimeout=20Try increasing this value, Your Saitek may need longer to be detected by Fsuipc
July 28, 201015 yr Are you also using the Saitek SST software (NOT drivers) if so an asignment in there may conflict with FSUIPC.Make sure that you have NO duplicate assignments for ALL of your controllers in FSX and no duplicates in FSX and FSUIPC.RegardsPeterH
July 29, 201015 yr Make sure you are updated to the latest version of FSUIPC I think this may have been a bug in an older version.http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=74352Also my X-52 Pro doesn't have more than one throttle lever and neither does it have a button at the base of its movement for a faux thrust reverser so I assume you are actually talking about the Saitek throttle quadrant rather than the X-52. Cheers, Andy.
July 31, 201015 yr I have done the same reverser switch as you Noah, but with a CH Eclipse yoke, and yes on occasion mine will stop working. Just opening FSUIPC will get it working again. As you say it's not a big deal, and I've never bothered to raise the issue on Pete's forum. If you find out what it is, I'd be interested to know what causes it. Regards Mike Martin
