August 2, 201015 yr Hello all. I have been trying to get reverse thrust working on the saitek throttle. I have gone into controls and looked for the "decrease thrust quickly" and moved my throttle up and down. Now when I am on the ground, and pull my throttle all the way back, I do get into reverse thrust, however just not all the way. I have to wag my throttle back and forth real quickly within the reverse throttle range to get maximum reverse thrust. Any ideas?
August 2, 201015 yr Just a thought, is there a 'repeat' slider at the right of the control entry? If so try enabling that.I have mine set up via a registered version of FSUIPC and it works a treat on default and most 3rd party aircraft.
August 2, 201015 yr I agree. The red area beneath the throttle axis activates a button. With a registered version of FSUIPC, you can assign that button to "decrease throttle quickly" and check it to repeat while held. It works really well. August 3, 201015 yr I set my reverse using the throttles. There is a button setting you can set when you pull the throttles all the way back. Use the "reduce engines quickly" button designation in fsx. Works great for me.CaptMac
August 3, 201015 yr Author I set my reverse using the throttles. There is a button setting you can set when you pull the throttles all the way back. Use the "reduce engines quickly" button designation in fsx. Works great for me.CaptMacI have done this. However, it does not reverse thrust all the way back, just slightly. I have to waggle my throttle up and down within the reverse thrust range to get my reverse thrust at maximum.I don't have a registered version of FSUIPC.
August 3, 201015 yr HelloA registered version of FSuipc is the best purchase you can make if you want to really get the best out of your controller setup. The profile system allows you to setup the controllers for each type of aircraft that you fly, the settings are loaded when you load each aircraft.Invaluable if you don't want to be assigning controls all the time when switching between jets , piston props, turbine props ect.So for jets you can use the unused prop and mixture levers for flaps, spoilers gear ect.

It is the only mapping tool to use with a Saitek stick.jja Jim Allen[email protected]SkyPilot Software home of FSXAssist / P3DAssist
August 4, 201015 yr Author Ok all, I got it to work by sliding the "repeat" slider all the way to the right.
