e-jets v2: who's gonna bite ?

Recommended Posts

It can't be 2 bad. I own the E-Jets V1 and they are spectacular airplanes to fly. Feelthere's best product to this day IMHO.

Probably got infected by something - just buy directly from feelThere: http://www.feelthere.com

I can assure you that somebody already has bought them and that they are mentioned in some threads around. V2 are way better than the E-Jets before and I would consider them as a really well done addon. The "Call" function is also included in the product (you have to extra buy it for the E-Jets) and gives you some FS2Crew touch (it actually is done better than the older Fs2Crew stuff because the buttons and switches are controlled in their status). Those birds are highly automated, so don't expect to check different hydraulic circuits and electrical loads. This Google and Firefox categorization of their website seems like a false alarm to me. Had those warnings here and there and it always was false alarm that lasted for weeks until removed. Not the best thing if somebody needs some clicks on his site btw.If you want to harm some site, this would be the way to go as most users will be warned in some way and don't think about adding an exception to their list. Maybe my PC is infected now, who knows?

I note that the FeelThere product page says that the new V2 E-Jets are only supported on 32-bit versions of Windows. That's pretty short-sighted given that 64-bit OS versions have been mainstream for years now.Oh well, maybe someday they'll make the effort to catch up to their desired customer base.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Pretty sure they've said in the past that it just means they didn't specifically test on 64-bit. I've used the ERJ v.2 for quite a while now in 64-bit Win7 and it works perfectly, can't imagine this is any different. I'll probably pick it up later today and I'll let you know that it works...

It works fine in Windows 7 64bit, I'm running through the tutorial flight now without any problems at all.

Cheers, Andy.

Sorry. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Problem is I am a sucker and they fooled me more than twice! Not this time!!! When they reach a PMDG/LDS level I might consider it.

Uh, why exactly was my post deleted?
Because there was a complaint that a developer should not comment on another developers product and I am trying to find what the official policy is on this. Until I find this out it will be invisible. Thanks,Geof

You're kidding me. All I said was that I own their ERJ 2.0 myself (purchased, full customer just like anyone else) and it works under Windows 7 x64, so this is likely to be the same. Cmon, that's just general information.

Ryan-I'd appreciate you accepting my explanation. If the official response is that this is ok it will be made visible. There is a larger issue here.

What exactly is the difference between the old and the new version?
