July 26, 201114 yr Good News, Ariane did get back to me. They apparently had a server problem which caused the delay. So if you have the same problem, go to the Ariane folder in fsx and run the exe addtosimstart. That gave me my sub menu and thus Activation. So I'm up and running.Chris, that is what happens when you use the search engine and don't want to start a new thread on the same subject. The point being that Ariane are still alive and well except for a server problem.The instructions you mention are in the install manual. I'd kinda had the same issue with their C-40. Turns out their software does not work well with FSCopilot and FSInn. After uninstalling that software, rebooting my computer, running addtosimstart.exe, loading FSX in a cessna and reloading the Ariaine Aircraft, install and activation worked fine. July 26, 201114 yr Well, no matter how hard I look, I can find no reference of addsimstart in my copy (BB737-700er) installation manual. Also nothing on the Ariane web site
July 26, 201114 yr I wish people wouldn't resurrect old threads that are dead and buried. I was thinking that the OP had only recently purchased that Ariane 737 until I noticed the dates on the posts :(obviously they are not dead and buried ... sorry, not following your logic here .. :(
August 1, 201114 yr Ariane has the worst customer service I've never seem. I bought the 737-800 in June and it'll take me a week to install. After that I had some issues and they were very, very rude in their support (actually, there is no support). On June 22th I ordered and paid the “Boeing 737 Flight Operations Manual” and up to date I haven't had any news about this shipment. I have sent TWELVE e-mails but I haven't received any information about the situation of the shipment. (When, How, Where, Courier, etc.). It seems nobody knows why it has not been sent yet...!!! I have requested Ariane to refund me my money, but NO answer. This is the service you can expect form Ariane. So, for me, no more deal with Ariane at all. JuanPPL(A)
August 2, 201114 yr Its amazing. I have been around for about 6 years, and the golden rule I learned from the start was NEVER to buy from Ariane. Oh boy, if you could read some of the crap all those years ago, I just dont know how the business kept alive. I remember people threatening to sue them cause they took your money, and you didn't get anything back for a long long time. Funny how people still fall for the trick. Brent Lewis
