I've seen a few people on here post that say they talk to someone who is on the MS Flight team. It's those people that the questions are directed at. :(

I believe the implication is that a public beta is a possibility at some stage, maybe next year.

Someone I know says he has inside info that Flight is just to be an online multiplayer game and nothing more, however I do not in fact know who his sources are. Personally though I am as confused and uncertain about Flight as everyone else right now.

I'm going to say that this is not true. If it is said that they are focusing on realism, performance, and easy add-on development, it should be just as good/better than FS9/FSX. No one ever said it was going to be a "game.":(

Well I got inside info from a guy in microsoft marketting.. .he says they dropped the word simulator because it's silly to count past 10 or X, hence the new title.

Yeah. but from all the things I'm hearing, they do not have intentions to make this a "game."

MS's plans are to make this new installment a game for the masses and a detailed simulation for the hobbyist.
