Howdy Len,In FS, hit Alt (assuming you're not running in Window Mode) and bring up your Menu Bar. Activate Files and it's the first entry down. The browser is pretty darned simple to navigate around; each button is mouse rollover active, you'll see what each one does.

While Smitty is digging deep into the kneeboard code I added some nice features which will be available tomorrow at the VPN website.http://www.westerntrainer.de/fs/0309051.jpgHere you see a feature that will be interesting for VAs. The plan is to issue Company Codes to VAs who then again will issue each pilot a personal access key. Providing this information pilots will be able to access specialized VPN content from their VA base directly from the aircraft. Everything is possible, from data-transfer to status-reports, flight-tracking, flightplan filing...it's up to the VA's to come up with ideas :)http://www.westerntrainer.de/fs/0309052.jpgHere you see the new access menu for the MSFS key commands. Pilots will be able to access them much faster by clicking on the command type which will take them directly to the appropriate section.http://www.westerntrainer.de/fs/0309053.jpgFrom the next version on the basic VPN packages will come with certain fixed links. If you take a close look at the drop-down menu on the top picture you'll see new entries:Charts Departure (departure.pdf)Charts Arrival (arrival.pdf)Charts Alternate (alternate.pdf)Flightplan (flightplan.pdf)AUX1 (aux1.htm)In brackets are the filenames these entries are linking to. By placing files that carry these filenames in the AIRCRAFT folder, these files will be available on VPN without further user input!Just make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader running in the background.http://www.westerntrainer.de/fs/0309054.jpgHere's another one just to show that the kneeboard isn't really too small to display Jeppesen approach charts. I'm sure it's rather good that the kneeboard isn't larger - it would be in the way permanently.Ideas welcome!-------------------MeatWaterProfessional Audio 4 Entertainmentwww.meatwater.com

I can't seem to get this to work. I want to put in the web page http://www.toshop.com/icao. I can get it to go to the main toshop.com/icao page when I hit F10, but when I enter an airfield in the airfield search results, and click search, it says the page can't be displayed. I did it this way:I went to the main website, right clicked on the page view source, then select all and copy. Then right clicked on the kneeboard file, selected to open with notepad, select all, and then paste. Does anyone know where I went wrong?

Your method will not work with such complex pages. I have attached a file that you can place into the VPN folder (unzip first). It will let you call up the page on VPN via the AUX1 link from the dropdown menue.Make sure you have the latest version of VPN, downloadable at the AVSIM file library (vpn14us.zip)www.vpncentral.ch.vu-------------------MeatWaterProfessional Audio 4 Entertainmentwww.meatwater.comhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35561.zip

I only read through about half the posts. I had mine working on 2k4's release date. So far I've put in foward/back and refresh along with a address bar to type in your url. Actually it's becoming an elaborate setup. Keep up the good work, yours looks great. :-)
