Nice mod, Johan. I'm having a little trouble coming to terms with the shuddering on the ground at slow speed and in pushback though ... :(
Its seems depending on the airplaine gear setting. My own RPF-POSKY merge doesnt shake, or just a tiny bit. Your milage may vary.. :-)

Johan,Not all my routinely-used planes did it either. On investigation, I solved the shaking issue by gradually increasing the plane's roll and yaw moments of inertia. Worked in all planes that shook - thanks for the spur to investigate it. No shaking at all on forward movement, and just barely a hint on pushback, which is fine. Your sim1.dll module is now standard in my FS9 installation - many thanks for your work.;)

Johan,I DL that file from your site and FS9 would not start. Th splash screen came up and the POOF CTD... had to delete the file...

Cheers,

Make sure you use the FS9.1, meaning an FS2004 with the update, otherwise it wont work.If you have it, then I am out of options, since it works well here. (just a few changed values, no change in the dll inner workings.)

Sorry for diggin this topic up. I'm using the sim1.dll from this topic and there isn't any problems with the big jets. However like the 737 the idle power somehow little bit strong, even with my parking brake on the aircraft still have a slight moving speed (smaller than 1kt),and when taxiing, can go up to 20-30kts by seconds. How can I edit this idle power to a smaller figure? I'm reading the post about HEX editor, seems hard and confusing :wacko:Thanks!

If you are using it with the iFly 737NG I suggest moving the default sim1.dll back in.It was anticipated in the aircraft so you don't need this .dllIt will quite happily taxi at idle or close to idle valueswith the default sim1.dll and that is why it speeds up with this one.cheersJP.

It,s not really an issue with the Sim1.dll It the aircraft model. Most aircraft designer have designed their aircraft to work properly with the original. If they have not, shame on them. With iFli it was a model design problem. I assume they fixed it.
There was no problem with the model, initially the airfile was set forrealistic fuelflow and that meant taxibehaviour was compromised i.etaxiing required a lot of breakaway thrust and a lot of thrust after that. Now the airfile is optimized for taxiing so there is hardly any thrust neededto keep the aircraft rolling and only a small amount to break away. But that does mean the fuel flow is a tad high on the ground. As with many things in FS9, it is a trade-off.JP.

Hi JPThanks for the tip. When flying with iFly I will replace the original one :(
