What does your cockpit/desk look like?

Then you don't have any idea what you're looking at or how to interpret the intruments.
What a quick and humbling assessment. Then please enlighten me...EGT always at ZERO?

Very nice and clean mark, BTW is that helmet a part of your simming? Just Kidding.gif
Hi Ping Pong, I think if I included it in my simming experience, the wife would have some strong grounds for divorce.... !! so no, it stays on the shelf. I have the whole kit though, flight suit, G trousers, harness, etc etc.....

Hey Mark, nice taste in books you got there.I enjoyed Haney's Delta Force and Schemmer's No Room for Error very much myself, real page-turners. :(

Thx Onur, I never tire of reading about that kind of stuff. Makes me wish I had taken a different career path when I was younger....

This is my Boeing 727-230 Lufthansa cockpit circa 1978
I'm impressed! :(
14imxw4.jpgTaken on phone, apologies for quality.Still working on setting up the 'trim wheel' and rudder pedals, any help would be appreciated! I'm having trouble mapping the axis.Laptop for viewing charts, or multitasking while flying, 4 speakers, with sub, but only in stereo.

In case anyone ever wondered, here is a really crappy video showing off my "FS Man Cave" where I test out stuff...Actually, this is the very first video I've made with my shirtpocket digital video camera. It's filmed at 1080p, but the rate is only 30Hz, so it's a bit jerky. The 40" Toshiba 1080p 200Hz LCD television on the wall will eventually become the main monitor for my FS rig, but as you can see I've got a lot of books to move before that can happen!

Hey there, great stuff. You didn't really run FS at full resolution on that TV did ya (talking about the xxx_24 movie)? Gotta be fun to fly on 40" either way... :(

Well, this is a major disappointment! It appears that my very expensive 40" HDTV will only support 4:3 ratio when connected to the FSX machine... :(

Yep. It looks much nicer now that I have the wide-screen working on my 40" HDTV though... :(
