They are just trying to get things right as possible, as fast as possible.
If that is the case, they are doing an awful job. Fast? yes, right? no.I've been on many beta teams. Some with real world pilots, some without. A lot of times the real world pilots know a lot about the plane but nothing or very little about the simulator itself and how textures, models, sounds, and flight models work. My experience beta testing, several thousands of hours of simming, and attention to the tiniest of details are what make me a good member on a beta team. I have not experienced any of the issues between RW pilots and non-pilots on a beta team as you mentioned.I am not a Bonanza pilot, I never was, I never claimed to be. I still knew the Carenado Bonanza was way off upon release (which it was). It doesn't take a pilot to know a flight model is COMPLETELY wrong. Period. It does take a real world pilot to get the tiny details that make the aircraft unique right. That's not my goal when I'm on a beta team though.I was the main tester for the Virtavia/Alphasim/Flight1 Islander's KLN90. I haven't used one in real life. I've barely even seen one in real life. Yet I found pages upon pages of problems through testing. Funny to note that problems that existed when I left that beta team still exist in the gauge now. Guess that shows that "real pilots" (and indeed a whole beta team) don't always catch the bugs.In short I disagree with a chunk of what you said, from my own experiences. I guess the teams you've been on have been different. It is good to see that the 340's product page is being constructed. $10,000 is a little steep though! LOL.gif

I'm excited! Tomorrow is the big day! 24 hours and I'll likely be somewhere over Nevada. Happy landings!

I sure hope it does come out tomorrow. I don't have to work and school hasn't started yet.I'm checking airliners.net for possible paints, now that I actually have some time to paint. Been a while since I could say that...(There are some pretty awesome repainting opportunities with this one!)(There are also some really boring ones lol)
