I really want to buy FlyTampa's TPA and BOS... are they really that good? I just spend money on FSDreamteam's ORD and JFK. It's about $55 for both... are they both quality sceneries?

YESI own all FT's stuff for FSX except Kai Tak and the Grenadines only because I can't fly heavies into the Grenadines and I dont feel like messing with my AI to get traffic at Kai Tak, but I would have to say that considering what I do own by them, that Tampa is their best work yet. Martin also did a real nice job with the modeling of the mall and other scenery objects around the outside of the airport. I'm sure its probably not as extreme as Kai Tak is since they modeled an extreme amount of the city, but none the less Tampa is really well done. Good FPS as well on my rig. When I test it with the PMDG 747, KTPA yields good solid FPS in the mid 20's with traffic. Same could be said for KBOS as well as far as extra stuff outside the airport and good FPS, but I don't thinks its as pretty as KTPA.I will say this though, and of course it depends on where you like to fly mostly, but I much prefer KTPA over KBOS, although I generally like to fly in Florida more that I do in the upper northeast anyway. I would recommend both of them.

Anything by FT is top notch.....

Indeed, FlyTampa does a pretty good job. I like the work by FSDreamTeam a little more in terms of the detail, but the framerate hit is definitely noticeable. FlyTampa airports look good and are easy on the framerates.

FlyTampa made THE BEST scenery packages when FS9 was king, and I have no doubt that they will still be better than anyone else's now that they are "back in the USA". I would like to see the west coast "attended to", as they had done before.

You wont regret a flytampa scenery they are one of the best scenery developers out there. the detail they put out is really wonderful you should check on any videos on youtube to give you a better idea. but flytampa is one of the best. :(

If I recall BOS doesn't have moving jetways? What about TPA?

I actually live under short final to Rwy 36L at TPA, in the neighborhood modelled by the scenery, and I can attest that it's very accurate and lifelike.I love that I can now fly over my condo(yes it's there!), and the bigger buildings in my neighborhood are all there too. They even put in both malls in the area with accurate stores.I would recommend KTPA without hesitation.

That's about the only thing I dont like is haivng to buy AES to get moving jetways, especially since they made them active in the St. Maarten scenery. Frankly its not that big of a deal since when I park I usually dont bother with them anyways, but it would be nice to have them function for free none the less.
