ORBX Sale at Flightsimstore!

I never flew in OZ either until I got the Orbx FTX OZ DVD (the older one included Choffs Harbour airport too). Now it is one of my favortie places for G/A flying. I even went as far as to get some Aussie VFR real world charts.ORBX FTX made me a fan of FSX.
For those visually inclined, flying down under is best this time of year - what with the longer days, less chance of blizzards, etc.I tried the Tasmania demo late last year and was hooked.
This is one of the reasons I don't like using photoscenery. I fly jetliners 90% of the time. So having consistency is very important to me. It all comes down to personal choice and preference. You will notice a difference when you fly out of the ORBX area partially because all the clear-cut ends. I believe that ORBX have plans to extend their scenery all the way to Mexico. I will by every one of their products that covers the West Coast. With FSDreamteam releasing KLAX and KSFO being done by Flightbeam, I would be content to fly up and down the coast of North America.
Agree fully.Since ORBX decided to do the Rockies before NorCal, I did pick up some good-and-inexpensive photoscenery for the area recently. It's ok better than default, but when you get below 3000ft the utter flatness just feels odd.

Great.I finally bought Israel's Farm. It's a great short test flight to and from Concrete Municipal.Love it all!Stan

Nonsense, that's what makes flying the best :)

Well guys I took the plunge. I hummed and hawwed over what I should buy and I settled on the Australia SP3 Download and Canada Pacific Fjords. I have a Melbourne and Brisbane and Cairns and so I was waiting for a sale of all the regions to finally use them. This will end my Christmas sale binge I have been on with all the deals over the last couple of weeks. I am going to bust the bank the moment the NGX comes out. It will be worth the heat I get from my wife! wink.gif

I missed it! :( Amongst all the great deals this year that expired on 12/31 at midnight EST (USA), I waited too long while the fireworks were going on in Sydney. I am only about 15 hours too late! Anyone know when the next big sale might be going on? I will reset my clock to Sydney local time in the future. LOL.gif Airbus

As far as I know the Flight Sim Store has the complete 4 region Australian continent DVD for sale at $49.50 AUD. It is worth far more than that in my opinion for it allows you to step up into a class of flight simulation never before seen. The one on sale can be freely updated with a download that takes it to the new SP4. Incredible offer to which you can add hundreds of ORBX and OZX free airports plus the best payware airports in the world (IMHO).Watch the Video! Here is the link: AUSTRALIAN REGIONS LINKI don't know how many DVDs are left, but there can't be too many.Kind regards,Edit PS: Or better yet, go to this YouTube link and click on 720p and full screen with your speakers turned up. As good as this film is, it still does not do justice to the real thing.ORBX AUSTRALIAN TRAILER

Hi Stephen,I downloaded a demo of the AUS region a year or two ago. Good agreed, but no real interest in flying around AUS in the long term so I didn't purchase.
