February 7, 201115 yr Author Moderator It's still happening to me and it's REALLY annoying. Every new forum section or page that I click on will bring up the dreaded pop-ups. (which seems to come in pairs, for some reason.) :Phbbbt:P.S. cmpbellsjc, I'm actually not clicking to download, though. That's actually the exact pop-up that raises it's ugly head. I then click on "Close".That's weird that its still happening to you, it quit doing it on my end on the 4th. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

February 7, 201115 yr Try clearing your cache see if that does anythingBrian -I was having the same annoying problem - then I finally told my download blocker to let it download.Nothing was actually downloaded and since doing that I have not had any further instances of the "request to download" occur when visiting various forums and threads. Not sure what I did of course but at least the annoyance has finally seemed to have stopped.

You don't know what it could have done in the background, once you let it in. I myself haven't had this issue, but I use Firefox, most which have it here seem to be running IE!
