Accessing a topic today brings a popup to download a file

It's still happening to me and it's REALLY annoying. Every new forum section or page that I click on will bring up the dreaded pop-ups. (which seems to come in pairs, for some reason.) :Phbbbt:P.S. cmpbellsjc, I'm actually not clicking to download, though. That's actually the exact pop-up that raises it's ugly head. I then click on "Close".
That's weird that its still happening to you, it quit doing it on my end on the 4th.

Try clearing your cache see if that does anything

Brian -I was having the same annoying problem - then I finally told my download blocker to let it download.Nothing was actually downloaded and since doing that I have not had any further instances of the "request to download" occur when visiting various forums and threads.Not sure what I did of course but at least the annoyance has finally seemed to have stopped.

Just to be safe, maybe you should do a virus scan. You don't know what it could have done in the background, once you let it in. I myself haven't had this issue, but I use Firefox, most which have it here seem to be running IE!

That was the very first thing I did - nothing found - and no issues have cropped up since.

I tried that as well but no luck.Also tried downloading it but still no luck.
