FS9 dead? I don't think so!

Recommended Posts

FS9 has infact killed all of the other sims behind! Let's just say that Flight will soon too, be a victim of FS9 as well. Dave.
I hope that won't happen. With Flight, I hope FS2004 will finally be killed, although I foresee that many great addons won't make the jump to lightsp... Erm, MSFlight.

FSX is dead, long live FS9!Serious: Have you ever heared of a game, which was released approximatly 8 years ago and is present till yet and "played" and can beat out it´s successor? Yeah, it´s Fs9, it´ll never die as long as we don´t give it up.BTW: The model looks good!
http://www.lfs.net/ ................and also this one. The graphics contained beat both sims. The wonderful thing also is, you can actually use multiplayer with the demo mode which has no time limits.

If MS learn the lesson taught by the FSX debacle and take the time needed to get it right, listen to their customers and give us something that we can all enjoy, then I will be glad to give FS9 a salute as it fades into the sunset. Not killed I hope - just an honored 'old soldier' "fading away." :(

Such an impressive model! VC gauges are smooth like butter as well!Hopefully all remaining FS9 aircraft dev's take note of this.

Tried the Stearman, and it's pretty incredible. Hopefully a sign of things to come for FS9.

Just a question,I wonder if ...more polygons=lower fps ?
Well, in a cheap laptop (Inspiron 11z), more polygons = lowest FPS. Yes, I downloaded it, but got 7 FPS in both external and VC views in my laptop. I have yet to unpack my desktop (which has a decent GPU... enough for overcoming a P4), but it won't happen soon :( Looks promising, however, now I have a reason for finishing quickly my thesis.Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel
