Captain Sim Weapons

Featured Replies

Got a copy. I must admit it is fun. A totally new FSX experience. But Im not a big fan of shooters so i'll pass tacpack or other upgrades.

I am extremely disappointed. There is enough violence in the world, why bring it to FSX? With all the choices out there for combat sims is it really necessary to arm flight simulator?
I understand your disappointment. All I can dsai is don't buy it, and hope that the discussion for it will be limited to a another Avsim sub-forum so this one does not get cluttered up with weapons talk. I think that would be reasonable. If it really works, I will buy it for sure. Racing around the Orbx PNW in a Spitfire, chasing Me-109s is just too cool.

Does it change the HUD inside the A-10 with their own hud?
Well, IT does no change gauges on another unknown aircraft magical way, but a qualified human can change :)Developers say: "Weapons VC HUD gau can be installed on any third-party aircraft HUD granted it has a physical 3D HUD glass in the VC and separate HUD gau entry to be replaced by the weapons HUD." Haven't tried it myself though.

Very interesting. I'll check out the manual as well. The TacPack looks amazing, based on the video.

I wonder if these newfound weapon-mod products were actually developed for Prepar3d and just happen to bleed back to the FSX market. It seem like two different ones coming out around the same time is just too coincidental.
