March 24, 201115 yr I understood that Asus graphic cards have an increased number of RMA (in other words, not so good quality like their motherboards). Valentin Rusu AMD Ryzen 9950X3D OC, Asus RTX 5090 OC, DDR5 64GB @6000MHz, Samsung 9100 NVMe for MSFS2024
March 24, 201115 yr The 570 is a great card, you'll love it.Is it better than the 580? I sincerely hope not, cos I just replaced my gtx 295 with an evga 580 superclocked. Chidiebere Anyahara

March 24, 201115 yr Get EVGA, they are THE best out there.I already got the evga 580 SC. My question was actually if the 570 was better than the 580? Chidiebere Anyahara
March 24, 201115 yr Get EVGA, they are THE best out there.+1I ALWAYS get EVGA for my GPU. They usually have a lifetime warranty, the quality is supurb, and their tech support is great. Their GPUs are rock solid and built to last. Ethan Rayhorn My Office: (Taken at FL410)
March 24, 201115 yr I already got the evga 580 SC. My question was actually if the 570 was better than the 580?He was replying to the OP, not to you. (I think)Yes the 580 is the top of the line. {Actually the 590 came out, so the 580 is not the top dog any more. Technology ... *sigh*} It has more memory and higher clock speeds than the 570. It also has 512 processor cores, while the 570 has only 480 processor cores. But for FSX, all of this doesn't really matter so much as the chip thats on the card. March 24, 201115 yr 590 was released recently. Only $730 for now. Might eventually be under 350 Euros if Belgium and Ireland don't collapse by then and torch the currency. Doug Orvis PP-ASEL-IA (USA), Based at KHEF Picture courtesy of Kyle Rodgers

March 25, 201115 yr I can vouch for EVGA. I RMA'd my 3yo 9800GX2 on Monday for artifacts on POST. They sent me a new GTX285 today as a replacement. Both have a lifetime warranty. I'm happy with that trade. Chuck Biggins
