+1I ALWAYS get EVGA for my GPU. They usually have a lifetime warranty, the quality is supurb, and their tech support is great. Their GPUs are rock solid and built to last.

He was replying to the OP, not to you. (I think)Yes the 580 is the top of the line. {Actually the 590 came out, so the 580 is not the top dog any more. Technology ... *sigh*} It has more memory and higher clock speeds than the 570. It also has 512 processor cores, while the 570 has only 480 processor cores. But for FSX, all of this doesn't really matter so much as the chip thats on the card.

590 was released recently. Only $730 for now. Might eventually be under 350 Euros if Belgium and Ireland don't collapse by then and torch the currency.

I can vouch for EVGA. I RMA'd my 3yo 9800GX2 on Monday for artifacts on POST. They sent me a new GTX285 today as a replacement. Both have a lifetime warranty. I'm happy with that trade.
