Is there an addon to make ATC tell you the wind direction after they clear you for takeoff?

The weather screen will also tell you.

VoxATC will give you winds when cleared too.IRL... you could wet your finger and stick it out the window. :(

There is a programme called editvoicepack, it allows you to add new callsigns airports etc to the atc vocabulary, and someone has edited the atc clearance and landing files so they add wind speed and direction for you. http://www.fsonline....e=EditVoicepack
Got it, but they indicate the wind just for landing, what about takeoff?

Editvoicepack will give you what you want (its a community mod) there is also an editvoicepack mod in the avsim file library that will give you landing winds and some other goodies as well called editvoicepack_mods.zip by Thomas Cain. There are 570 editvoicepack mods in the avsim library just do a library search on <editvoicepack> and fill your boots. :(
